sjoebarry Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Got mine delivered today. Hope the existing transformation videos @jenius has on anymoon.com are applicable…… Quote
Mog Posted March 13 Posted March 13 If it's similar to the other Ride Armors, key issues are as follows: Be mindful of separating the crotch armor from the rest of the bike. Try going from the bottom (instead of the top) to separate it from the bike. There's a way to make the opening wider for the head slip through for armor mode. Just gotta adjust the all the moving pieces around that opening. Some parts can pop off because they're on ball joints. But they're pretty easy to pop back into place (just a mild annoyance). Be aware that people have had problems/issues with the parts that go around the torso, under the armpits. There's two joints on those parts that, if they were mis-assembled or have excess flashing, could cause you problems. Remember to stretch the legs for armor mode. Quote

Sorry if this was already talked about, I don't remember, thx in advance Quote
Mog Posted March 13 Posted March 13 I think we may have had a CAD prototype of that GBP-1S looking one. And nothing confirmed, but we all suspect they’ll want to produce the rest of the Breakers team. Also, I believe Sentinel is re-releasing all of the four main characters’ Ride Armors again (i.e., Stick/Stig, Rey, Yellow, and Houquet). Quote

Mog Posted March 13 Posted March 13 They made a manga with new characters. @sjoebarry reposted a pic of the four characters a page back: On 3/10/2024 at 1:56 PM, sjoebarry said: Quote

MKT Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Can't tell from this image if it's just shading or something, but is Gate supposed to have only one eye? Anyway this is a nice group image of all the Breakers team.. Quote
Cypher DX Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Wasn't sure what her name was in original Mospeada... but in Robotech... do you think they'll entertain a "Sue Graham" Battler? It would be pretty much a repaint with a few different accessories and sculpt of the head, right? Quote

Other than her armor, part of me kinda wish she had a figure based on her jumpsuit. Quote
jenius Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Many years ago, I asked someone at Sentinel about her. They said that they wanted to find a way to make her. They said she was in the same category with the red and green Treads, they knew a few diehards would love them but that they probably wouldn't sell well enough for a full retail release. They were pondering if they could figure out some sort of an 'exclusive' release... like sell them at WF. Again, this was eons ago so it means nothing today except that the desire was there. Quote

Not sure if there’s better pictures Quote
Mog Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Well, Gate’s figure itself doesn’t look like it’s missing an eye. Changing gears, hopefully, we see something more about the Tread. I already got the Hou-Rey combo in bike mode. Now I need that combo in the Legi-Tread variety. Quote

MKT Posted March 14 Posted March 14 I thought I wanna insert a ‘preorder cancelled’ joke somewhere, but ok she has both eyes. A few more pics, this time from Jimmy Yu on FB. Gotta say the color combo chosen really matches well with each other, as of the nicely done tampo prints.. Quote
Chronocidal Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Do these characters actually have opening helmets or alternate heads? Or maybe work with other existing heads? Just wondering, since I would have expected to see pics of them by this point. Quote
Mog Posted March 14 Posted March 14 The helmet opens up from what we’ve seen. But no alternate head. Wonder if they’ll have all the alternate hands too. Quote

Mog Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Pigtailed, chibi-fied Mospeada mecha chick! Just need her to do the double peace sign. Quote

Mog Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Without the armor, those figures CAN pull off the superhero pose. Quote

Cypher DX Posted March 17 Posted March 17 (edited) Not to go down the road of griping, the sculpts are nice and the fact someone picked up and expanded upon Mospeada without somebody interfering is pretty nice. But a return to the more standard stuff Mospeada is known for would be a great treat in toy form. I was always hoping for a different road to expansion on a war torn earth occupied by the inbit and the resistance and what's left of the military and manufacturing in a few secret areas ..... such as a crashed ship larger than the garfish some place. Redesigns and prototypes of different mecha that defended earth as well as a few incomplete recon teams surviving planet side. There were a few non transformable defenders planet side when they invaded right? And it always seemed the automated fighters powered down or active had something of a different integrated power system. I would of like to see a manga explore a resistance group somehow build a manable legios out of a unmanned drone version as they discover how/why the inbit lock on to their mecha so easily. Not so much build a homemade stealth fighter as a result, but something less prone to being locked on, a little less dependent on power cells for fuel so it doesn't get hammered outright on sight. ...... Just my two cents considering how much of a fan I am of the series as a whole. Edited March 17 by Cypher DX Quote
