If you mean the SMG game, they are releasing the Mospeada/Southern Cross version (the KS already ran for it).

Yeah, I was talking about SMG.

But it is still Robotech canon, at least reading from the preview.

So asking if anyone had thought of Homebrew Mospeada canon.

Opened my Houquet today. And she can dance on one leg actually, I love it!

Lighting really makes a difference in what color she looks to be wearing. That and my phone's crappy screen.  I gotta say though, her feet seem a bit too narrow for my taste. 🤒

If you look at the original prototype, they actually improved the look of Houquet’s legs, with the final product having a more feminine taper and sculpt.

I took these shots in daylight, but it's overcast today, so I had to increase the exposure. So the colors are not quite right. The photo is more about poseability.
The figure's feet are really a bit narrow, and the heels are too high.

The Mospaeda Gaiden is starting in next months issue.  T-Rex only says they can make announcements “soon.”  Possibly July too but not as concrete as the Genesis Breakers story.

Is the mospeada gaiden also manga strip by any chance? Wasnt quite clear on what next month's issue meant..probably model kits?

I know I’m very late to the game on the Riobot Ride Armors, but has anyone figured out a fix for the cracked joints in the Stick/Ray/Yellow bikes, or is it just crazy glue and prayer?

Pretty much that.

No easy way to remove it.  And no one’s really made a 3D print of the part (at least on these boards).

Well, I think I might get some fan art commission refs when it comes out.

As a coincidence, I just asked Inspector97, who is also Mospeada tan, to draw two characters (not from any work, just fan character who would be jibronies or background extras).

That's great news, some progress coming and more ride-armors by Sentinel! But I hope they'll announce the Tread for PO first in meantime..

After reading this my immediate issue with this new series is that the new Ride-Armor designs are Waaaaaay more advanced looking than anything from what Stick and the others were using, even the Fleet that arrives at the end of the series didn't have anything this high-tech. If you're setting a new show THAT takes place during an original timeline with established designs & characters whom we're all familiar with, you really should try to keep it somewhat consistent. 

It's good to see a Mospeada entry after all these years but those details bug me. If it turns out to be a really good series I'll be very happy to have been wrong & skeptical at first.

My guess is that this is from the universe where Stick and company's ride armors look like the ones made by sentinel. If you are hung up on original aesthetics then you're likely to be frustrated.

They’re definitely going along with the newer styling. The face etching is the big giveaway. 
personally this does have a bit of a mix of lower and advanced tech. The extra sensors do look more advanced, but those could be written as bits that don’t make it into the combat types. And the feet look more lower tech, like they were just thrown together. Overall it can be seen as a specialized armor

I'm hung up on the limitations of the human body.  Is "Gate" supposed to be some kind of cyborg?  Human feet are completely incompatible with that design. 😒

I have to admit, I am not a fan of the Sentinel designs & that Genesis breaker RA doesn't win me over either. 

It's asking for a lot but give me some new characters worth rooting for plus a damn good story and I'll be good.

Thanks for the Eye Decal tips guys! I got some Frame Arms Girls Eyes. 

Couldn't really find any that matched the 80's style, but these are way better than the tiny painted on ones on Hoquet, to me. I dont even know what color her eyes are so i used blue but they could be green. I have green ones on the sheet if so. Not perfect but I think its an improvement.
