Mr March
On Cinescape, they just posted news about two and a half minutes of Star Wars Episode III that is circulating around the internet. Sounds like it's some fella who recorded it from a marketing meeting. Check out the story. News at Cinescape Has anyone seen it? eriku
Interesting to see some of the fight choreography, but I'm not sure what it is about this clip that has so many people geeked. Maybe it's Chewie.
Mr March
Very nice. The final battle looks very intense. I wonder what is going to be substituted for the sword fighters in the blue and green screen costumes?

bsu legato
Hoo-kay, here we go. Spoiler.... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . if you don't want to be spoiled for 2005, you'd better turn back now. Go bitch about the 1/100 VF-0 toy. I know I did. . . . . . . . . . . Still here? Ok, the greensuited guys are to be replaced with the General Gervious' henchmen, most likely droids of some kind. They're the CIS's last ditch weapon to battle the Jedi. They're armed with some kind of lightsaber-resistant polearm. . . . . . . . . . . . End spoiler.

bsu legato
This footage comes from a recent meeting for licencees over in Europe. There was an even longer presentation in San Fran last November, and reportedly the footage shown there ran about 9 minutes, including many near-complete SFX shots. There has been hints that this footage may be made available at some future date.

bsu legato
Cortosis pole arms? That's what I was thinking too. Interesting how cortosis' introduction would have coincided with the preproduction of Ep III. Hmmm....
Uxi
Ah I see you've been busy BSU. Yeah it is a great clip. Gonna be a looong year. The opening space battle is also supposed to be the largest in any SW movie with multiple capital ship on capital ship engagements. As far as the duel, it's been said it's gonna make the Maul/Obi-Wan fight look like the SW kid.
