TangledThorns Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 I think a TV series would be more interesting but what the heck, I'm in! Quote

I'll be in for another go with John Spartan! I don't know if I'd call it a 'guilty' pleasure or not, but the first was a fun ride. Quote
Roy Focker Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 There's 2 ways to do a sequel to this movie. 1. Show how the world has change with Sly living in it for past 30 years. Could be very interesting but the Sly being the fish out of water is what made the first movie fun. 2. After 30 years of living Sly is refrozen again for some reason and defrosted in even crazier future. Then the movie just becomes a Boomer complaining about the good days. Quote

Dynaman Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 The more I see this thread the more I keep thinking that a sequel to this is such a bad idea. It was a fun little romp but there is absolutely nothing there to hang a sequel on. The only gimick I could even think of is having Sly meet a clone of himself that was not frozen so that you could have old Sly and Young Sly meet. And even that is lame. Quote
