They previously said they were going to be doing a V1.5 for the FP....as the V1.0 FP are not 100% able to tab in place to the V2.5 VF-1...

I have a set of V1.0 FP mounted to my V2.5 VF-1S Roy.....there is no issue when mounted in Battroid or Gerwalk...however, due to the repositioned leg tabs...they are set higher to where the arm armor can "normally" connect to them and they are also "longer" so they do not slide completly into the arm armor slots....it holds, but not perfectly and even when you get things as "good as can be"....the positioning of that general rear arm/leg area in not as flush as it should be (or as it is when connecting the V1.0 FP to a V1.0 or V2.0 VF-1)....

Would be nice if they will be releasing the V1.5 FP for the V2.5 VF-1J M&M.....too bad they said that would not be the case for the Super VF-1S TV Hikaru...guessing it is being released as a stand-alone VF-1S Hikaru and stand alone V1.0 FP.....the M&M are seemingly combo packs

Hopefully the Fast Packs get upgraded for the M&M figures. Would really be a shame if they couldnt cleanly be transformed into all three modes. The FP 1.5 sounds interesting.

I asked about the long delayed Heavy Armor set. They said they are making changes to it and it won't be ready until 4th quarter.

This is definitely a more complete line than HMR. KC has stated they will do a VF-1D at some point. Here's hoping for paint variants of that too

My question was directly related to the VF-1S TV Hikaru.. which was getting shipped minus the fast packs for the reason stated above.   

They bundled my CF 1J and Hikki TV 1S in the same package,  but held the fastpacks.    When I inquired why this was the response I got.

Yep....same here.....that would be really good news if that's why they decided to do the right thing and not pack the V1.0 FP with the V2.5 VF-1...it would have been a bad decision IMO....I do not mind waiting if it means getting a "standard colored" FP V1.5 for my V2.5 TV VF-1S

Did they mention that past the Check Out process? Reason being is that I'm trying to test an order to see where it says they don't ship to US. I'm actually in the Check Out page right after I put US/State in the shipping quote. Though I didn't go past the Confirm Order section. So just checking where did it says they don't ship to USA.

Also, BBTS has those 2 VF-1J's on preorder.

I started a test order as well, I did not see anything that they do not ship to the USA.  It will allow me to buy and it quotes a shipping cost.  There is the message below on each item page.

- Our Post Office has suspended all airmail services to Australia, Canada, France, Mexico and USA from 1 Jan 2022 until further notice.  All express delivery orders to these countries can only be shipped when the services are resumed.

Yeah, if you're in the US, I think it's practical to order it with BBTS. That way if you have problem with the item, it's easy and it's stress-free to work with their customer service.

No worries, the message is easy to miss unless you scroll all the way down.  BBTS is the safer option, I wish they had a Max and Millia combo that was a little cheaper like the Kitz Concept site does.  I wonder why Max is $10 more than Millia on BBTS?

Not just with BBTS. Max is also $10 more on KitzConcept.

I’m not gonna talk too much bad about the kitz stuff. They may not look as good as any of the Japanese releases, but the people that like them have a much easier time obtaining them and their also a bit more affordable for those that like them. And for the completionist they probably will do all the tv vf1 ‘s. The line does seem to be making improvements

Well, they do have a chubby regult and pilot. They probably will have more coming. I’m skipping their regult though. It’s kind ugly. Curious about the zentraedi soldier though since they only have a teaser pic

I too would like to see the pilot first as its my only reason for getting their Regult.  Its already very small and weaponless, so I could tip either way on the purchase decision based on how it looks.

I really wish they would do 1/12 Zentraedi soldiers though.

So my KC 1/72 VF-1J "Standard" and VF-1S "Rick Hunter" came in....

 

 

 

I only opened up the VF-1J Standard...the VF-1S "Rick" is more or less going to be the same as the recently released VF-1S Roy....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The colors on the VF-1J Standard are the same as those used for the VF-1A Standard....here you can see the difference between the shade of light brown used between the VF-1J Standard and the VF-1A "Ben Dixon"....

 

 

OK....so now I ask you eagle-eyed MWers....who can spot the problem with my VF-1J Standard?  Hint:  KC kind of Aracdia'd me!  

I have reached out to KC about it....maybe it is just a problem with mine, but if not, this will really put their customer service to the test....

Yep..well, I think what they did is assembled the foot/thruster on the right leg backwards!

 

KC apologized and said they felt it was just mine that got mis-assembled.....two replacement legs will be sent to me...

As far as the "confused color" placement...I had let KC know about it a while back when they released the Max and Ben VF-1A's, which they also "confused" the colors on....oh well, not that big of a deal....I'll just have to live with it

If anyone gets their VF-1A Standard, hope yours is put together correctly!

I did not open my VF-1S Rick Hunter, but I did check through the box window that at least the feet were both correctly installed...lol

With that said, I will have to inspect it now for any other potential issues....

My KC order came in today,  was expecting it last week but USPS.. nuff said.

 

 

 

I did not take a look at the feet on the officers 1J yet.  I probably will dig that out when I get a chance.

 

What I just noticed.. and find funny..

I think this puts me at 5 different versions of the KC 1S toy..  Fokker V1, V2, Hikaru, Black & Gold, Black & Red.   I think that is all of them at this point.
