They displayed them today and various sites are labelling as new from Kitzconcept, and I fell for it. Apologies. Quote

Radioguy Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Would be interested if they did the LV 1J, or a Woodland Camo like Yamato did for a 1A. Quote

Looking at the packaging, it appears KC is releasing the Artillery Battlepods first, though it looks like all Battlepods will have same box art, with the Artillery ones having a sticker saying so. Based on the ToysTV video posted in Kids Logic thread, the Zentraedi soldier is nowhere to be seen. So still in development.. Another info out of the video is that KC’s also considering bundling all 3 pods for a price of HKD 2000, although not sure if it includes the soldier. One thing I noticed, is that all pods have the same tattoo & markings. If I remember, the normal pod is supposed to have different markings from the Artillery ones just like the HMR Regults. KC’s initial pics on the product page show a difference between both, but now when I go back and look at the pages, they all now have the same tattoos. The missile packs will be the sole differentiating factor. Quote

Different “tattoos “ and things like gray legs and such were mostly box art or possibly for different fleets possibly. They didn’t have markings in the show, but occasionally had gray legs. So I’m not sure if that was just miscoloring, artistic fun or depicting something like a different fleet. Hasegawa and Bandai bot have it where the unit number markings are different, but the tattoo markings are the same between the different variants, but they could be wrong. Quote

Well I'm just basing it on the HMR Regults, where except for the Zentraedi insignia at the forehead, all the markings and tattoos are different between the 3 variants, so it makes each of them slightly more unique & interesting. One thing that’s fun about the Hasegawa kits is that they come with a translation guide for zentraedi writing to English numbers and letters Edited July 28 by Big s Quote

MKT Posted August 12 Posted August 12 KC continue to be quite silent on the big question in everyone's minds.. where's the Zentraedi soldier? The Pods look to have been produced, or at final stages of production, and it's clear the solider is still far from ready. KC must have been ruminating for some time the decision to either ship the Pod first and the soldier separately later on (thus eating extra shipping cost), or wait for the soldier to be ready & ship together as originally intended but that would entail more months of delay. I think it's likely KC will be separating the Pod from the Soldier as 2 individual pieces after this so they can get more sales of the Pod going first. Quote

Ignacio Ocamica Posted August 13 Posted August 13 It actually looks quite nice. Here's a pic of my Yamato 1/60 Regult with the 1/60 Q-Rau (to compare with the Kitzconcept / Q-Rau pic). Quote

At this point this is the only realistic option. KC must have tried hard to make it work with one figure, just like they tried with Dana. 8 hours ago, treatment said: Those are actually nice! Big s Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Overall, I think Bandai’s hmr regult still looks slightly and really only very slightly better, but I like that this one hides the knee joints and it’s not bad at all honestly. They definitely improved it since the old pictures before the actual release. I just think it opens weird and is slightly wider in the body. I still think hasegawa is the best Regult Quote
MKT Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Yup at moment KC’s looks to be a great toy, much more so than their mainstay VF-1. The Yamato 1/60 posted above by @Ignacio Ocamica really looks majestic. 8 hours ago, jvmacross said: Where's the link to these pics? Can be found here. Convectuoso Posted August 14 Posted August 14 So they totally skipped the Zentraedi pilot figure they promised this would include. That's what I was looking forward to the most Quote
jvmacross Posted August 14 Posted August 14 (edited) I hope not as that would be pretty egregious....as you have indicated....several buyers got in on a PO based solely on the fig.... Hoping they are just keeping the reveal a secret until officially shipped....or at minimum the fig(s) will be shipped at a later date.... The listing on their site still says a Gluu-Ger is included...so no need to panic just yet.... https://www.kitzconcept.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=93 Edited August 14 by jvmacross Quote
Pontus Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Whether they include it or not, all the nails are already in the coffin for me after they asked for final payment with ZERO intention of actually shipping it upon payment. Taking a preorder payment is one thing, but if you're asking for final payment, you darn well better be shipping it. I don't pay for hopes and dreams. Quote

jenius Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Besides saying one will exist, can anyone remind me what hints we have about the pilot figure? Could they just send a fetal position figurine or did they promise more than that? Quote

If I remember, it was an articulated figure and I think it was supposed to have the cloth and removable armor, but that part may have just been speculation on the prototype Quote
