Is this new?  I thought there was some sort of large scale cockpit with a speaker box attached to it or something?

This is just a downsized version of the previously released 1/6 scale version.....so half the price?

Porbably more than half. And not sure if that's accurate since it was being made by 2 different companies. But then again, this is Robotech. ;)

One would hope, since this one isn't advertised as a speaker...

fixed!...KC never made a "cockpit" diorama...they have only made the 1/12 figures so far, which I would hope KL is building their 1/12 cockpit to accommodate...:unknw:

I'm pretty sure both the 1/6th and 1/12th scale versions were made by Kids Logic

Makes me think of a line from my last book.  "Who gave my baby an STD?"  (He's talking about his old plane).   Seriously though, have they even looked at the VF-1 and other contemporary aircraft, none have giant bulb rivets like that.

Indeed, someone needs to tell them Flush rivets have been a thing since the 20's guys... this one looks even MORE lie it was designed in a soviet tank-factory...

but it's an HG license, so that tracks.

Clearly this is from their alternate history 'SPACY 1946' series they have coming up.

It's not like it's any harder to model them as flush rivets instead.  I mean WTF?

You guys clearly haven't worked with the visually impaired before...  That's not rivets, it's Braille.

A long, agonized scream written across the nosecone in Braille.

Looks like it has way too many colors in the cockpit.

Yah, looks like a bad case of genital herpes.

Also, it's what you get for having anything to do with HG.

Well, whaddaya know?  It turns out the rivets weren't the most ridiculously absurd part of this product after all...

The price is even more absurdly ridiculous.  8P

Based on what I can tell of the pics/description, this doesn’t have a real LCD cockpit screen like the 1/6 version. That sound right to you guys?

Seems like it

I sent the link of this thread to the guy in charge of Kids Logic because he wanted to see the comments.  He was thankful and said the information was useful to them so maybe some changes will be made to the final product.
