Dynaman Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 What a bad week or so for people passing away. I was not a Sesame Street watcher as a kid but I really liked Big Bird and Oscar. RIP Caroll Spinney https://www.syfy.com/syfywire/mark-hamill-josh-gad-mourn-caroll-spinney Quote
505thAirborne Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 I hope Big Bird & Kermit are together again. I felt this was appropriate. RIP Caroll, thank you for the memories. Quote

Dynaman Posted December 10, 2019 Author Posted December 10, 2019 (edited) Big bird, Kermit and Mr Cooper. I remember Sesame Street used the actor's death as a teaching moment and Big Bird was a major part of it. Edited December 10, 2019 by Dynaman Quote
M'Kyuun Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 This one hit home. It's a sad reality that all these wonderful people who entertained, taught, and in a way befriended so many children, including myself, eventually come to the end of their journeys, leaving both a lasting legacy, but also an unfillable void. Wherever he is now, I hope Jim Henson's there to give him a warm welcome. RIP, and thanks for so many fond memories, Big Bird. Quote
