Strike a pose, anything goes!

Looks like I found a pic of one of my old desk set-ups (back when my kiddos were still babies):

Eagle-eyed observers can see nine GI Joes figures that used to take up a significant chunk of desk real estate.

And if you look really hard, you’ll find the old o-ring figures of Version 2 Snake Eyes and Version 2 Storm Shadow.

From the ridiculously articulated figure above to some figures that are instead ridiculously difficult to pose out . . .

Back when I had the full MPC set :pardon::

Kinda wish the plastic skirt was more pliable.  Even with the mods I did, it’s still hard to pose out the legs.

Not impossible, mind you, just limited:

Makes me wonder if they should have went with a cloth skirt instead?

Most collectors were split between a soft goods skirt and a plastic molded one.  It takes a lot of effort to get a soft-goods skirt to look “just right.”

It wouldn’t surprise me if Hasbro decides to release a soft goods version later on, just to get another use out of the mold.

The soft goods are usually bads unfortunately

Most of my Sentinel Ride Armors are still unplayed, except for when I took out Stick when it was first released. Hope to find time & space for all of them soon..

Dusty as hell, but still been holding the crown of best Alpha-Beta/Legioss-Tread combo for the past decade and a half:

Wonder how much longer it will hold on to that crown.

I've been hankering for an Alpha+Beta combo since forever, and nearly pulled trigger on the CM ones several times. Glad Sentinel's finally completing the combo.
Still, these Toynami ones still look good & worth keeping for display.
