Kanedas Bike Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Can. Not. Wait. Getting Ryan and Hugh on screen together as these two characters is worth the price of admission. Especially after their hilarious back and forth for years. -b. Quote

sh9000 Posted September 28, 2022 Author Posted September 28, 2022 I wouldn't mind a small cameo of Peter from Deadpool 2 or X-23 from Logan. Also, finally give Wolverine his costume. Quote

sh9000 Posted September 28, 2022 Author Posted September 28, 2022 This is going to be my favorite movie. Already have a space on my blu-ray shelf too. Quote

Thom Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 No matter how it came about, I'm really glad they are doing it. Although, no, sorry Jackman, for me, Logan is in off-shoot alternate universe with nothing to do with the main series of movies. I hated what they did to the X-Men in that. Quote

Same; I really didn't like how they played that one out... Quote
pengbuzz Posted May 21, 2023 Posted May 21, 2023 Is it just me, or should they have cast the actress playing NTW as Jubilee instead? She looks more the part from that pic in Deadpool 2. Quote

I get what you’re saying, like if I hold an old 90’s poster up to her, but I guarantee you that she would probably get an extreme backlash that would put the whole project in jeopardy. Quote
sh9000 Posted May 24, 2023 Author Posted May 24, 2023 Filming for Deadpool 3 officially begins today. Quote

That’s an odd choice if they were trying to fold Deadpool into the mcu, unless they’re trying to do a multiverse thing Quote

Tking22 Posted July 10, 2023 Posted July 10, 2023 Yup, that'll do, only took 20 years but there you go, Hugh in an actual Wolverine costume. Quote

Deadpool didn’t seem to mind having a comic character with full mask and comic style white eyes, I’d be interested to Hugh in a mask as well, even if it’s only a few scenes Quote
mechaninac Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 The 20th Century Fox ruins is classic Deadpool cheeky irreverence... Love It! Quote
sh9000 Posted July 11, 2023 Author Posted July 11, 2023 Peter is back for this so that's cool. I hope to see all the cameos in comic costumes. Quote

Toy aisles will empty overnight of that Wolverine, It's the ONLY Disney-Marvel production I'm excited for. Please, please, please don't let Disney's corrosive BS ruin this. I sure hope Ryan Reynolds is in full control of this production... given their recent track record with Marvel, they better be smart enough to be COMPLETELY hands off on this one. sh9000 Posted July 29, 2023 Author Posted July 29, 2023 Production stopped due to the strike. The movie is pushed to 5/3/2024 but may be expected to move again depending on the timeline of the strike. Quote
kalvasflam Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 I am kinda curious about the strike thing. I mean the actor's guild I understand. But would a production stop for a writer's guild strike? Presumably the writing (meaning the script an variants thereof) for the movie is already done and ready, right? Quote

Not for every movie or show in production, and that doesn't take into account rewrites during shooting that the writer's are under contract to perform and supply. And yes, perhaps one show is getting wrapped up, but being part of a Union means that when the other guy in your Union strikes, you strike too, whether the show you are on is done or not. Quote
