This picture has me laughing since I always focus on the an action in the foreground. But I never really noticed that while Kakizaki is getting the kaki beat out of him that Max and Hikaru are dancing in the background

ah okay - but pictures are up on 1999.co.jp. It appears they remodeled the engine bays/legs from scratch.

Which is to be expected, as this is essentially the 1/20 kit scaled down, which also did the same thing in the same way. IIRC that line launched the other way around - Super Fighter first, then regular Fighter later.
