Dax415 Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Hi guys, been searching around the web and I can't seem to find a blank template of the armored vf-11. Attached is what I've found thus far. I'm thinking a stealthy color plus a light blue for accent... probably keep things aligned with a flat satin style of paint. Which easy to access/use program would be best for recoloring the file to get a mock up paint scheme? Your help and input appreciated. Quote
Bolt Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 (edited) There's just not much in the way of innovative squadron schemes for the ARMORED VF-11. I don't have the VFMF VF-11 book yet, but maybe there's something in there.. I have a squadron of three 1/72 resin kits waiting to be built. And though i do like this scheme, i will definitely go for something more unique. Once i go there.. Edited August 22, 2019 by Bolt Quote

I recommend Photoshop (albeit, it may or may not be easy for you to *get*). Nevertheless, any program that has layers and lets you adjust the blend mode of the layers to multiply. You can put additional layers underneath the line art, lay down the colour there, and you'll get your mock up. Quote

Sanity is Optional Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 There's always GIMP, which is freeware. It does have layers. Quote
