The Ultimate VF-1 Valkyrie Toy Wish / Want List

As the pre-order madness for Bandai's Hikaru VF-1S is about to start, I wanted to start a wish list for what should be in the ultimate VF-1 valkyrie toy. I posted a few things in that Bandai topic and someone said it sounded like a wish / want thing so here is this topic.

 

My list:

1. Small Minmay figure to fit in the Valkyrie's hand in Gerwalk mode.

 

2. Battle damage for Max's VF-1S.

 

I remember reading the review on Anymoon and he said maybe they could go to a larger scale in the 30s. I think that scale should get a pretty good small Minmay figure.

If we're getting a TV-style VF-1S, it'd be nice to add:

• Both Roy and Hik' pilots;
• Hik with Misa on his lap (after the big battle);
• Heat shield deployable in Gerwalk mode (from the same big battle);
• "Pineapple salad'ed" Roy and seat!

Edit:  And a more efficient way to pre-order these damn things.

I forgot about a small Misa figure because I still want Kids Logic to make a Misa figure for their cockpit line of replicas.

Bandai's 1/48 valk is close to ultimate, but it lacks;

As a matter of priority;
1) removable front fuselage.
2) detailed and tampoed cockpit area esp instrument panel.
3) accurate sized and detailed pilots
4) magnets for supers!!
5) white landing gear
6) included seat rotation and pop up seat gimmick.
7) removable individual missiles from the box missiles.
tampo accuracy (as per TV or DYRL scheme)
9) intake covers that need not be removed but can slide to open/close.
10) integrated antennae
11) double tail hooks
12) repair arm gimmicks
13) used to want VF-1 valks with opening maintenance hatches gimmicks. Not so sure about it nowadays. 

and lastly yeah what chyll2 said...

I know it's not Anime accurate, but rather than double tail hooks, would't a single tail hook integrated into a forearm make more sense?  Not sure how it would clear the gun pod though.  Maybe a slider?

That might make more sense, but in terms of an ultimate valk, its gotta follow the lineart.

Not sure if you know that the hi-metal R VF-1D comes with a tiny Minmay and a specific left hand to hold her.  Not the scale you seem to be going for, but just in case you hadn't heard.

-Integrated waist swivel with more range than the 1/48

-Double jointed knees enabling the knees to bend back more than 90 degrees

Effect part that shows the 55mm shell casings being ejected from the gunpod.  For me, that is more iconic in Macross than the actual muzzle flash.

Thanks. I didn't know about that. But the scale is a bit small. Strange that they tried that on a smaller level but not on the bigger version.

Based on what everyone is saying, they basically just want this:

"I want a VF-1 that can perfectly replicate the pose and look of every frame of canon animation or official art"

Of course that is impossible, so there will never be such a thing as an Ultimate VF-1.

Not complaining from me. I just think it would be nice to have the two things I mentioned since they are pretty iconic elements from the shows.
