jvmacross Posted September 3, 2023 Author Posted September 3, 2023 Don't think I have that one...but looks to be part of a group of stationery and other merch that was targeted at younger kids? I think there are also a number of coloring books and puzzles that have that blue bear mascot... Quote
Shawn Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 found the stationary/binder/paper bin...pretty sure all these have been posted, but now I can have my stuff in one post so I know what to search for next 😛 first are the notepads, then the soft folders/paperback cover, then the hard folders, then coloring books front/back or back/front, sometimes I don't even know some late minute grabs Quote
Shawn Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 anyone post the art file yet? I don't see it here Can do tomorrow, but here is the flyer Quote

Swann Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 It looks like we are The Three Musketeers that post here. All the time. Quote
Swann Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 The look the both of you give me " You still got a long way to go to collecting the rarest gems" Quote
Shawn Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Mentioned it before, we just have time on our side, and finding the cheap stuff like notebooks is sometimes harder than the expensive stuff If one sees a macross notepad in a drawer that you don't want, are you going to spend any effort in trying to sell it to make perhaps $5 Nah-you just close the drawer. You have a takatoku though, now you have $200 All the paper stuff like flyers and stuff get infinitely harder to find as time passes as its just not worth the effort to recover a couple hundred yen, if that. I always try to find the rarer stuff. I do have most of the notebooks that came out in 1984. Do you have another Macross yellow book cover that you can sell me? Quote
Shawn Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 I'll keep my eyes peeled, but I think I sold my extras at the SDCon last year Quote
Shawn Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 I just went through all the pages and documented what I'm missing 2 sketchbooks(will be difficult to find for <$100) 1 binder(stupid hair variant) 1 notebook(surprised I don't have it) 1 memo book(the rarest I think, never saw it before) 1 SD Macross Notebook( I only saw 1 time on Mercari years ago. It looked similar to the SD Macross Shita) 1 coloring book with weird VF-1J They really really really milked this franchise on goods 😛 Quote

jvmacross Posted September 8, 2023 Author Posted September 8, 2023 yeah...but why would a kid want action figures over a 1/55 transforming VF-1? LOL Anyway, I guess the closest thing to action figures would have been the vinyl and rubber toys from Takatoku and Ohsato... Quote
