easnoddy Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 I think they set a precedent for nonsense with 3.33 or whatever. 1 & 2 were good, 3 went nuts. Quote

I still find the MB Eva-01's head wider. I know I said before that it somehow resembles Mr. Grinch. But with a second look, I think it resembles Jeff more. What do you guys think? Quote
no3Ljm Posted August 1, 2019 Author Posted August 1, 2019 Looks like another crossover in the making. Eva X Megami. Quote

You might not be able to do so, but I know that used figures show up on amiami from time to time. Search for in-stock items, including pre-owned ones. Quote

Must've been bought between then and now, because I don't see it listed anymore. I can find the original listing, which is for a new item and is discontinued, but no preowned ones. They'll have condition rankings on the product page next to the name of the item, like so: https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?gcode=FIGURE-000570-R (Pre-owned ITEM:A/BOX:B) Quote

It was ITEM:A/BOX:B. I'm hoping they dont end up shipping that awful China replica version. Quote

505thAirborne Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 ^^^ NICE!!! I like the price tag too. Quote
Atheonyirh Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 (edited) Roughly twice the price of the original RD Evas, IIRC, but not bad for modern RD/Figuarts/Figma/etc pricing. Depends on just how many accessories, including hands, they come with. The old RDs had an absurd number of hands didn't they? Like 7 or 8 sets? Edited October 29, 2019 by Atheonyirh Quote

Sanity is Optional Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Worth noting, this figure includes parts molded in multiple colors. Specifically the horn, the eyepiece, and some of the arm armor bits. Also Bandai states that they've specifically focused on articulation in this kit. The knee bend and the hips are stated to be able to do natural crouching poses. The torso and neck are also called out as improved articulation. Quote

It seems silly to pay international shipping on something that is $37. And I'm not seeing anything else I want. Quote

Honestly, my rule on regular release Bandai kits is to only buy them on sale. Of course that's partially due to my model kit backlog already being sizeable. Quote
kajnrig Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 I'm surprised they didn't make a bigger deal of this. No silhouette teaser, no secretive "Next RG In Development" mystery box at an expo, nothing? Just this sudden promo image and preorders are up? Kinda disappointed that they didn't try to miniaturize the "condom suit" of the PG to at least hide the elbow and knee joints. I'm sure with today's tech they could make it much easier to work with while still looking seamless. Quote

I'm 100% certain that it will be available from various US based retailers, including Amazon.com eventually. Just means waiting, and will probably cost a bit more than the Japanese MSRP. Example, HLJ has the RG Nu for ¥3,570 JPY (15% off ¥4,200 JPY MRSP), while Amazon charges $46 (approx ¥4,975). As far as US stores go, I'd get it from either Amazon or Gundam Planet. Or just wait till you have something else from a Japanese store and ship it with that. Edited November 1, 2019 by Sanity is Optional Quote

Big s Posted November 2, 2019 Posted November 2, 2019 Does the transport set come with everything from the standard version, just with extra hands and transport or do you still need the standard kit as well? Quote
