Does it transform? Will it have LED lights like the other Kikan Taizen ships? And why is Bandai competing with themselves? (Megahouse is a Bandai subsidiary.)

The Megahouse SDF-1 was a TV version, so maybe this is not direct competition.

Whee.....does it glow in the dark? Hmm in some way Bandai is following Arcadia releases lol...what was Arcadia’s scale again...

I think Arcadia is 1/3000.  Jenius' site says the Megahouse was around 20 cm.

I like it; for some reason this is more appealing than the Arcadia version. Maybe I’ll change my mind when I see the price hehe

It would be impossible to transform, at that scale... although I suppose some fiber-optic lighting is feasible.

They could make it a parts-former like the Megahouse. In fact, this basically looks to me like the movie version of the Megahouse SDF-1. It’s the same scale.

Yeah. I was really thinking of the concurrent releases of the Yamato and Andromeda. A movie version at this scale would be neat, though I hope the proportions aren't as odd as the TV release.

Not if it's 1:6000, as labeled.  The Megahouse is 1:5000.  That's a significant difference, as any Star Trek collector can tell you.

I was under the impression that the WHAM was 1/5000 and the Megahouse Cosmo Fleet was about 1/6000.

It might just be but me I am sensing a 66.6cm long Nuptiet Vergnitzs. The ship could be sold in one box and broken down into about 4 or 5 parts.

Doh.

Looks like the shoulder lasers have the slot they would need to transform. Could just be for detail though.

Edit: Looking closer, I can't make out any elbow joints.

Look at picture closely. The guns are attached to the shoulders.

This one already exists 19.5 inches approximately 50cm, and comes in 5 parts (IIRC).

That was a low quantity run of a resin kit from a guy down in Australia years ago, I own one, I love it...not really the same kind of thing, so can't really compare to a small scale toy.

I’m just saying the size for production is really not too far off. Making a static model would be a strong possibility at this scale. If the parts breakdown would be similar to this kit then it’s totally doable.

If it doesn't transform, why are the ARMDs in that position?  Makes you wonder.

Good catch....the "01" ARMD goes where the "02" ARMD currently is attached on the toy....implying some partsformation is going to be happening?....let's hope so

If it's a static display, I think 20cm is a good size as a display piece for your work station. 8)

Give some black wash it could look impressive.

I see now. This is 'battleship series'

They are doing battleships from Anime. So they will do things like Yamato, Harlock, Gundam Dunbine ships..etc.

Megahouse did a 'Cosmo fleet' series for a while back. This looks like upgraded bigger version of new series.
