My Yammy VT-1 (version 2) came with a warped canopy and when I tried to fix it I just made it worse. I was wondering if anyone makes reproduction canopies that I could purchase.

These are really hard to make without making a recast of the part to replace it with.  I have clear resin, but without an original working canopy that is aligned properly, your chances of fixing it aren't too great. Perhaps one of the 3D CAD guys here can make a copy of one for you, and you can order it on Shapeways. That's probably your best bet for a fix.

Hey danth, You could try removing the nosecone from the fuselage and popping off the D shaped piece that covers the canopys' hinge. The D piece is usually glued in, but if You use a sharp tool like a box cutter, You might be able to wedge it in and pry the piece off. Next step, put the canopy in hot water and wait till its pliable enough for it to warp back into shape, and tape it tightly back on the nosecone for a few hours. If it ends up foggy, You can always polish it back, there are tons of videos on  youtube  how to.

This might seem like a crazy idea, but I would definitely give it a shot, unless someone around here is willing to cast one off of theirs.....anyways, good luck !

Thanks all.

I guess I was hoping someone had already recast the 2 seater canopy for customs.

Anyway I've already damaged my canopy beyond repair. Also I was never able to get the damn D piece off.
