Never been a big fan of the Romulan BoP, it always looked more like it should be a Federation ship to me. Like a smaller patrol vessel instead of a capital ship like the Connies. That being said the model looks pretty nice. Congrats.

Exactly! Though, smaller I’d imagine….like the saucer/main hull rim is only 1 deck thick.

That's in line with Romulan design though, loom how long they sponged off of Klingon ships.

I saw that this morning. I hope that picture isn't an accurate representation of the paint. It looks horrible. Tempting though.

I've got that 21" long Kickstarter Roci. The landing gear looks goofy the way they did it, it takes up a TON of room and I can sell it for WAY more than I paid for it.  I'm considering replacing it with the Eaglemoss unit. But that paint is sketchy.

The heavy surface tiling and the semi-glossy sheen don't help either... the combination makes it look sloppier than it may actually be.

Edit:  I do wish they would take on B5 as well... an XL edition Omega Class would rock!

It's the weird "camo" thing they have going on in the black that is tripping me out. I may have missed it but I don't ever remember seeing that in the show.

My box of deep discount Eaglemoss showed up along with the brand spanking new Enterprise F Refit! The sleeper of this bunch is the Sheliak warship. The paint job and detailing is absolutely 1st rate! Enterprise F is very good as well!

So next up, I went full bad guy Star Trek Discovery! Now I'm NOT a fan of this show AT ALL, however! I will say I think some of the ships are just BADASS! So as all these were over half off I went for them. I will say this.. The ISS Charon is the best thing Eaglemoss has ever done IMHO. It is absolutely incredible in person! I don't have a battery to light up the core yet but I will tomorrow hopefully!

I finally got my F Refit in the other day as well.  The look is overall improved from the original design/release minus the awful tapered nacelle/fin.  Of course I was never a fan of the F design anyway, I got it for completion sake.  STO was never really able to make a decent Federation design, IMO.  They have several Klingon and Romulan designs I think should be official cannon but their Federation stuff is almost uniformly bad.

Ok, I will admit, I'm not familiar enough with those designs to really tell how they're suppose to look, but are they actually painted with some splattered camo pattern?

Like.. Great if they're supposed to look like that, but compared with the one very clean black ship, those all look like they've literally been left out in the rain.  Maybe Eaglemoss missed its calling and should be doing weathered carrier aircraft?  They look kind of like someone used that splotchy salt-wash technique on them.

@Chronocidal - Yeh, I hear you on the odd paint job on the 3 of the 4 ships. The "Stealth Ship" is just all black, which works, but beside the others with the pattern, looks kind of basic.  Honestly I wasn't sure whether I was going to like the paint jobs or not. Once in hand though, it is pretty cool. Kind of like some sort of space age carbon fiber hull or something.  I haven't watched the show so I have no clue as to whether it looks like that one screen or not.   The effect in normal room lighting is much less than with the flash obviously. It's almost hard to see unless you are really looking hard at the ships.  The 4 nacelle version is the most prominent, but still, in person I like it. YMMV. The drone ship in my mind is something straight out the The X Files/Area 51/UFO lore, it's jut wicked cool looking, has a very faint grid pattern all over it that's hard to see, but it's there, and that sucker is heavy!

Not bad looking, but a dropship with no deployable wings is pretty disappointing.  I know Eaglemoss doesn't really do moving parts, but I feel like that's one case where they really should have gone the extra mile.

Wow, Eaglemoss seems to have seriously borked up their supplies or regional sites, or something.. none of those sales seem to apply to the US?  Was actually going to pick up the Mark VII Viper and an XL Runabout at half price, but NOPE...

That's the confusing part, they all seem to be running on the UK site, but the moment I switch the region, everything disappears.  The shipping notes say something about only being able to deliver to the UK, so it might be something to do with a regional overstock.

Eaglemoss run entirely different between the US and UK stores.  Their shipping and availability of new models is different too.  Sometimes pre-orders go up in the US months before the UK and vice versa you'll see UK reviewers covering ships that won't be available here for months.

Yeah,  have the first release with the deployed weapons pods…for the price it is very disappointing. I guess they justify this new one because the pods are  closed on it. Shame too, as it is a perfect size but as you said the don’t like moving parts.
