Consolidated Megazone 23 Toy/Model Thread for 2017-2018

I feel like I managed to at least collect the 1/48 garlands and figures form Imizu now. The last pieces arrived which was mainly the part II garlands and the new figures he created for part I and part II.

I've seen a few of these pop up in auction listings and sell out for ~200usd already!

Since the 1/48 was on my mind I wanted the condor too in the same scale.

Afraid not, only at wonderfest. I managed to get a really great friend to attend and run around the event to collect these as I couldn't attend.

THANK YOU!!! I'll dig around there for similar too. I want the spiky shoulder bits as well. Mine are all yellowed and potentially brittle. Old toys. they don't make old toys like they used to make old toys (I'm looking at my 1/55 valkyries still working despite yellowing)

Nothing concrete yet from Arcadia. The only Hargun-related post was from Mr.K's Twitter feed back in Sept 14.

Mr K appear to be mentioning something about ‘preparing instruction manual’ in this tweet.

I thinking it’s real early to be doing so, since PO isn’t even up yet. Unless, he meant the assembly instructions for the factory.

8 pages of 1/24 scale Aoshima Garland goodness in the lates copy of Robot Hobby Life. Perfect leg transformation too.

That's the 1/48 scale Hargun by the same modeler that's featured in the book 😁  There are a few cleared photos of it a few pages back in this topic.

Not the Arcadia hargun but a long time 3D fan project that's been realised with 3d printing. Lots of intricate details and mechanisms on it like the hip joint locking mechanism works and details under the cowl.

That Garland in the acrylic case must be really tiny (not a Hiroshi Imizu creation I take it).

Hope they post it assembled.

The size of the small garland in that case is insane. Video of it and the transformation at 1/100 scale!

Very fiddly and fragile looking model, but pretty cool that it's both articulated and transformable at that tiny size.  It's amazing what's possible these days.

Arcadia Hargun appear to be progressing very slowly...

Meanwhile, although Arcadia Garlands have superseded the Yammies in terms of build & engineering, the Yammies still display very well, with colors & nice options not available to the Arcadias so far. I'm pretty happy I got this Factory color version.

There is definitely something really nice about having the different colors to display.

I just wish the Arcadia variant hadn't been so expensive.

Really does. I am so very in for the Hargun. Been waiting on a transformable one of these for SOOOOO long.

I love my original Arcadia, too. Sadly, I missed out on the other two... I don't remember if I literally just missed the preorders, or if they came during a window when finances for toys were a bit hard to justify... Hoping on some reissues.

The 3 for sale in that listing are the two bikes on the right (Transporter not shown ... pics pulled from earlier in the thread)

For size comparison, here's pics of the Garland with some others (Imizu's kits come colored w/some pre-painted resin parts) ...

And daBlah featured his Hargun kit earlier as well...
