505thAirborne Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 If it's a fake, that's the best custom ever! Anyway to find out if Takatoku ever actually made this? Quote
KingKong Posted October 17, 2017 Author Posted October 17, 2017 look at battroyd armor ,its not like repainted it looks like factory made.. Quote
jenius Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 This and the M&M wedding gift set are old customs, i think they've even been in these boards before. They are custom, not Takatoku. There are also VF-1D toys that got this treatment. Quote

Vifam7 Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 (edited) The first giveaway of this being a fake, is that the kanji for kanzen (完全) and henkei (変形) is written incorrectly. It also says "3 タイフ" (instead of 3 タイプ)Then there's also the non-sensical word after the red "VF-1A" plus another heinous mistake underneath the fighter image that says "VF-1A ガウォーハルキリーー" Edited October 17, 2017 by Vifam7 Quote
wmkjr Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Just in case you still have doubts, I'll leave this here for reference: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/topic/37655-am-i-an-a-hole-for-telling-someone-they-bought-something-fake/ Quote
jvmacross Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 The closest Takatoku 1/55 Max TV VF-1A and VF-1D to being quasi official were created for promotional purposes by Takatoku back in the day...and most likely in some Japanese collector's dungeon....never to see the light of day..... Quote
505thAirborne Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Does make you wonder if someone actually kept that Max, VF-1D & Cavalier.... In mint condition of course. Quote
KingKong Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 https://collectorarchive.com/val001 CAS gread this set lol Quote
