Is this the same kit that was being worked on in the Workshop thread? I need to get back in there, see what the latest updates are...

EDIT:

Whoops, never mind. I was thinking of the VF-5000 that Tage is working on. Still, the need to get back in there still stands.

I love the 3000, it's the bigger/better, more badass, "perfected" version of the VF-1.

agreed. There is no complicated wing folding mechanism and the backpack thruster can be used in fighter mode.

Thirded!  In addition to these, it's a proper two-seater and it has elbow rockets for badass punches!  Love the 3000 so much.

Looks like Experten has put up some test shot photos?

They really did good on the transformation, kind of reminds me of the modern toy transformation. Implementation is real good and modern. If only bandai or arcadia can do a take on it.

Has anyone seen the 1/72 pop up recently? (Well... post WF2013) Doesn't seem Experten is doing much these days.

Need some more M3 in my life.

The VF-3000 and the SW-AXI Schneeblume are my favorite VF's.

Have seen the VF-3000 pop up once in Yahoo auctions. Never seen the Schneeblume (IHP/Liquid Stone kit).

Damn, it looks like most of the parts in the kit aren't resin cast, but 3D printed on an FDM printer.  I'm really not a fan of that method of production.  FDM printed parts are a pain in the ass to sand to a smooth finish.
Definitely not the kind of thing I'd like to see in a kit sold for $300.

I only ever worked on such an item once, and it was a repair job for one that had come apart. A friend of mine had won an auction on FB for a Razor's Crest 3D printed ship from The Mandalorian (scaled to fit the 4" figures, I'm guessing from the size of it), and one of the engine nozzles "de-laminated" (for lack of a better term). Not only is it a pain to sand, but I would think that if not printed properly, it would run a pretty good chance of falling apart!
