Even though there a lot of seam lines to get rid of, they’re at least mostly in smooth areas. So it’s not a super complicated clean up. Just a lot of large parts Quote

Um... yeah? 😅 This lineart definitely convinces me that I'll want to use the larger heel option. I'm also seeing the overall design is tweaked quite a bit compared to the art, which is fine. I'm mostly just looking for some consistency between the Hasegawa kits. Maybe it's the fighter kits that are goofed. The heel pieces seem absolutely massive on those. A little late replying, but this is part of the mess Bandai got themselves into with the VF-19 Advance and YF-19 DX releases. The Advance came with (mostly) Hasegawa fighter-mode feet. Looks fine in fighter mode, right? Yeah, well that gives you this in battroid. Then they over-corrected in the normal YF-19 release. Fugly short fighter heels that didn't even fit into the legs, but they looked fine in battroid. The Bandai DX ones have always had the issue that the feet are mis-aligned with the center of the legs though. They don't collapse far enough into the legs, and it made the toes look too big in general. On the 1/100 HG YF-19 kit, they just flat out gave up on getting the feet to look correct in fighter at all, and they don't even fold all the way because they're too tall. I still think the Arcadia option came out with the best balance, even if the toes wind up looking a little small in battroid. They probably could have fixed that if they designed the toes to extend a little once the ankles were extended. They're just all over the place, and no one really seems interested in trying to reconcile the different shapes outside of Arcadia. In Hasegawa's case it's not even really necessary, since nothing has to transform. I'm surprised they even went to the trouble of making the extras, since they look much worse than the stubby ones. TMBounty_Hunter Posted May 9 Posted May 9 During the live show they had the Hasegawa 1/72 and Bandai 1/100 side by side and boy oh boy Hasegawa really puts Bandai's big gaps and oversized panel lines to shame Quote

But one's smaller and more closer to a transformable toy, the other larger and for more skilled builders. Edited May 12 by Raikkonen Quote

Raikkonen Posted June 10 Posted June 10 What are the chances of Hasegawa doing the Fodder version? More interested in that. Quote

You could just repaint the original red version since it already has a female pilot, but I have a feeling that another recolor with slightly different markings and a more generic female face is too tempting for Hasegawa to pass up Quote

Usually when these items give the month, they mean end of the month so that it’s like giving them an extra full month without lying about it being really the next month Quote

kajnrig Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Wow, was there no preview of this, no hobby show prototype, etc.? All of a sudden, just up on HLJ? Quote
Big s Posted July 3 Posted July 3 2 hours ago, kajnrig said: Wow, was there no preview of this, no hobby show prototype, etc.? All of a sudden, just up on HLJ? Hasegawa tends to do that a lot. Most of their stuff lately is a surprise. Mostly good surprises though Just got Max’s Queadluun Rau. The box looked like someone sat on it. Even the product box was squished. Luckily all the pats were fine and nothing popped off the runners. Quote
Raikkonen Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Aren't the guns way under-scaled here? (I know Hase makes fighter mode priority over the other mode's details, but these look like small daggers than the actual guns.) Quote
