Dobber Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . Does HLJ usually carry this stuff? If not where and when!!!! I've been waiting for a Sylphide! Chris Quote
Valkyrie Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Yes, it's a kit. But they're only available at Wonderfest So far, Pla4U has put out a 1/72 Normal Sylph, a 1/72 F/A-27C (from episode 4), a 1/38 Mave, and now the 1/48 Normal Sylph, which made its debut at the most recent WF. They'll show up occasionally on Yahoo Japan Auctions, but they can get pretty pricey... Quote
Dobber Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Event only kit again! Man that sucks!!! I thought there where plans to start marketing these more? Chris Quote
Dante74 Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Are there even any toys or pre-assembled models available of the Yukikaze planes? And if not, why? Quote
electric indigo Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Dante, check this out Yellow Submarine Yukikaze models Quote
Dante74 Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Wow, Thanks for the link. Nice and cheap too! As soon as they're available again, I'll order a couple of them. Quote
Scream Man Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 man, i suck at kit building come on guys...just one nice fighter toy is all i ask... Quote
Dante74 Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 If you mean the Yellow Submarine kits, they are pre-built. They are a bit small IMO. I'd prefer it if they were 1/72 or 1/48. Quote
Dante74 Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Just found a nice gallery containing lots of aircraft models including some Yakikaze models. Sparrow Scratchbuilt Aviation Quote

Dobber Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Could you send me the pics? I can't see them.....possibly because the web site wants to install something that my computer doesn't like. I really want to get a Sylphid!!!!! I'm so disappointed that Yellow Sub canceled their 1/144 and no one else mass realeased a kit just these stupid....but gorgeous....event only kits!!!!!! Chris Quote
Valkyrie Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 (edited) Sweet mother of CRAP!! Platz is bringing out their 1/72 Normal Sylph and F/A-27C kits!!! Notice their name on the signs? Platz x Project E5 http://pds6.cafe.daum.net/download.php?grp...ncnt=N&.jpg More concrete evidence is on Platz's homepage http://www.platz-hobby.com/event/07shs.html They're listed as for a fall release. Price undecided. These kits were originally sold at Wonderfest by under the name Pla4U. They seem to have branched out from them under the name Project E5, and partnered with Platz. All reference to these kit has been removed from the Pla4U homepage (www.pla4u.net) This is the best model-related news I've heard in ages Edited June 24, 2007 by Valkyrie Quote
Dobber Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 (edited) Oh GOD!!! I hope this is true!!!!!! Valkyrie I could kiss you.....but I won't, cause that would be gay........not that there is anything wrong with that either. How I need that kit, now I'll need to keep watching HLJ for a release!! Chris Edited June 23, 2007 by Dobber Quote
electric indigo Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 ZOMG! I did notice the Platz labels, but couldn't find the info on the english Platz site. This is truly good news. And congratulations to Pla4U! Quote
wolfx Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 I don't like the normal sylph. Looks too blocky. Bring out the super sylphs and mave! Quote
Keith Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 A week or so at AOD, a Bandai rep re-affirmed that they've licensed Mave chan, and that it should be out by the end of summer. Quote

Dobber Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Woo Hoo!! Ordered the Sylphid! Thanks for the Heads up!! Quote
Valkyrie Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 I should go without saying, I'm totally excited about these new kits! But I just hope Platz can actually pull off a december release for both of them. All three of their last Yukikaze kits were delayed by at least 4 months... Just like the series itself, which was also plagued with delays... And then there's Yellow Submarine's 1/144 Fand II pre-paint, which has been delayed for almost 2 years and counting... Seriously guys, I think Yukikaze is cursed. Quote
vermillion01 Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 (edited) I was asked in another thread to up some wallpapers for Yukikaze, if anyone has some nicer hi-res ones, please post 'em! My apologies if anyone has already posted these. Thanks to the original uploader (on another site somewhere..) Oh, here it is... check it out its really quite good. http://yukikaze.hollosite.com/wallpaper.htm Edited September 17, 2007 by vermillion01 Quote
