treatment Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 (edited) Not sure if there's already a thread for it, but trailer's out! 12/22/17 release Looks like tons of fun! Edited June 29, 2017 by treatment poll added Quote
Convectuoso Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Unless I catch it on a plane, on a really, really long flight, not interested on this one. I enjoyed the the first one a lot as a kid. Although the visual effects were disappointing, I had some sort of a crush on Kirsten Dunst and the movie itself made me laugh a lot, but I'm a bit tired of all the remakes/reboots/sequels of classic movies. no3Ljm Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 I still kinda like the concept of the actual game itself becomes real rather than the other way around. Quote
technoblue Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 They had me at Karen Gillan, but I'll stay for the Tron shenanigans. It looks like it could be a fun popcorn flick. Quote
Negotiator Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 I like the concept of being your avatar. Potential could be very funny. Quote
Dobber Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Made me laugh in a good way, looks good so far. Chris Quote
Kanedas Bike Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Never saw/wanted to see the first one, but the trailer for this one does look like a pretty fun of popcorn-flick. Not likely to see it in the theatre but really positive word of mouth could convince me to buy it on Blu Ray. If not then I'll catch it on cable or Netflix. -b. Quote
UN Spacy Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 HORRIBLE...Robin Williams is spinning in his grave. Quote
TangledThorns Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Looks like stupid fun, something for the older kids to enjoy. Quote
Knight26 Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 (edited) Looks interesting, my boys should enjoy it. I'm glad that it isn't a straight rehash but is making it something modern kids would/could relate to more then a board game entering the real world. Getting sucked in seems a bit more interesting. The body dismorphic aspects should be interesting as well, but I hope they don't play that up too much. Breakfast Club + Tron + OG Jumanji + Generic Body Swap Movie = New Jumanji Honestly, the thing I like most in the trailer, it's having fun and not taking itself too seriously. We don't get enough movies like that anymore. Edited June 30, 2017 by Knight26 Quote

Roy Focker Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Looks okay. Even looks capable of being its own movie without having to use the title of another one. Quote
Graham Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 Pretty funny movie, saw it with my wife and son on Christmas Eve. We all really enjoyed it. Quote
seti88 Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Its a fun romp. Loved the whole gang playing out their avatars. Quote
