Maiden Japan Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 and he finally shows it off!! Nice Daisuke!! question - where did you get those 3-tier black displays in the square crates for your Transformers? I custom made those stages from black foam-core boards. It's very easy. You can buy those from office supply stores. Quote
ae_productions Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Your collection fills me with envy. Quote
JET7 Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 @maidenjapan, your addiction to plastic is terrible.. terrible.. so terrible its stings me with envy. awesome man totally Quote
ae_productions Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Your shockwave is in excellent shape! Is that an original one? Mine didn't hold up too well over the course of the last 25 years or so. Quote
Frogze Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 That is a staggering amount of toy greatness if I've ever seen one, and all these vintage boxes are so cool! Quote
Maiden Japan Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Most of my Transformers figures are original. Those are 20+ years of my collection, and that's only about 20 percent of my entire stuffs on the picture. Quote
JET7 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 do you still dust 'em one by one? or vaccumm the accumulated dust perhaps? Quote
UN Spacy Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Has anyone hit up Ikea lately? Apparently there's a been a sale going on from December 26th to January 9th. I'd tempted to drop a good amount of coin on a new display cabinet. Any suggestions? Quote

It was mostly floor items being sold off at 50% off Quote

Of 6 that I have I bought 4 of them on craigs list for around 20 bucks each. Which reminds me I need to get two more Edited January 7, 2011 by Snail00 Quote
NSJ23 Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 nothing special here. but it's mine and i love it. Quote
thegunny Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 The top picture looks like they are line dancing Quote
Minelayer Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 I go to the P.A. IKEA as well and they don't have much left on sale. What's sad is they discontinued the light set that fits right into the Detolf and never replaced it with a new product. KiriK Posted January 11, 2011 Author Posted January 11, 2011 Wow, thousands of dollars worth of toys at work! you must be pretty trusting of your office coworkers Quote
logos Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Like I've said to some of the other Mac'worlders before it has never been a problem. It's a small office too so I get away with it. I really do like having them at work though. I spend way more time with them then I ever would at home. It's my "Calm Blue Ocean" or "Serenity Now" or "Hang in There" poster. Besides the only time I have concentrating with them around is when I get a new one. Quote
JET7 Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 logos, i feel you, i have most of my toys in the office..its my stress removal area at work. whats a masterpiece starscream doin in there hehe Quote

Peabody Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Even though its not the biggest for some reason I really like Derex`s collection the most, maybe I like that everything is logically organised and he has some unusual items mixed in. Quote
Jasonc Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Derex, that is a very nice, and neatly organized Macross, and Mospeada display. Very impressive. Back in the day, I used to have all my toys organized as such, but long gone are those days. I used to be able to fit just about the entire collection into 3 Detolfs, but now, I'd need about 6 or 7. Hopefully this year if we get a house, I'll be buying better display cabinets, and will have it all out on display, and I can contribute more to this thread than just comments and being so envious of everyone's bad@ss displays. Keep em coming. Quote
