Thanks! THat's the one I remember! Of course it went to Kicker's museum, what better place for it (other than it's creator MT's home). I don't pay enough attention to the Workshop thread as there are some seriously epic projects there, with this one being the king of them all.

Now if only I could see that final video on that thread, it doesn't load for me with this error: "This video contains content from WMG, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."

If i worked for  a year or two non-stop, without any expenses at all, just saving for Macross, then, i think i could do it. Yes, i would be able to own a tenth of what Kicker773 owns.

Awesome coliction Kicker.

Wish i had bought a Yamato SV-51 "CF" and/or Nora when i had the chance before Yamato went under... now i can only watch pics.  Oh well, nice pics ;)

Actually, wish i also bought one of those Toynami Beta too back in the days.  I always wanted the green one.

And while we are at it, i kick myself for not having bought the Yamato 1/60th Max vf-1A TV and the VF-1D Max back when they were cheap.

Not so i could sell them now, but because they would have been nice to own and i could have, but didnt go forward with the purchase back in the day when it was doable... ie under under 200$. Where is that god damn dolorian when you need it, lol.  I think i would just stay in the past ;)

Kicker773 simply amazing collection!

Just a question, are you from malaysia?

No but I’m from the Orient ...I don’t think I can handle the import fees if I lived there. But I do have some awesome collector friends there who have helped me out in the past getting some Autograph items, like this one from Kawamori sensei when he was out there.38CDA3CC-4897-438C-89DC-91200203C09B.jpeg.8b1e8767fc928a4ed04fa76bfaf891bc.jpeg

got these from somewhere don’t remember who signed these for some reason

Hey @Kicker773! Awesome collections as always. You really made my jaw drop. Literrally. ;)

Quick question though. Seeing all of your collections, and for sure you have more outside of Macross collectibles, did you apply insurance for those? Thanks!

Okay, four things...

1. Impressive Macross 7 collection.

2. Fold boosters can attach to the VF-17?

3. Are you applying those FlightPose display stands directly to your valkyries' undersides, or do you have the rubber tips covered with something to prevent toy degradation?

4. Sound boosters can clamp onto the VF-17 in fighter mode? Is that ever done in the show?

1. Thank you, old vid new one has more ladies in the shelves.DEF12705-8F60-4659-B73D-CA5B1EBA3BAB.thumb.jpeg.70201bc910e1ce59af6c679c259e1eeb.jpeg982A5011-755C-446D-A2C9-A2D3B8E4942A.thumb.jpeg.4a6ee1158cd8ef493933bcba4c5117fa.jpeg

2. Not really but you can play with it to attach to the valk. I’ve only seen it in the show unattached 5BC5EEA9-D0EF-49FA-889D-2823A0DF8BA1.jpeg.16bf2b8b672f850b3b8e3123301af153.jpeg

3. I have not had any degradation with the clear tips but I’ve seen them happen with the dark tips. It also depends on how warm the room is which can contribute to the degradation. I try to keep it cool in there since there isn’t any sunlight going in.

4. I don’t think it’s possible and I have not tried it but there was a VF17T in the show in Sound Force with its custom speakers piloted by Ray and Veffidas

@Slave IV: There's a Sivil model kit and now long gone from Manda -  https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1085557355&ref=list

I'm sure that you can find one if you poke around online. Just finished watching Macross 7 not long ago. Haven't seen the OVA or the other offerings yet.

Thanks! I do remember seeing that before. Hopefully someday they make a statue I don't have to paint myself or better yet, an SHF/Figma style action figure.

Yeah there’s a rider with my policy that covers personal belongings

Thanks Kicker! I'm thinking also if I should upgrade ours due to my ever-growing clutters. ^_^

Fortunate enough to have gotten two of the ladies

Quick question. Is that a customed 1/72 Hasegawa VF-1 Minmay Special Valk behind the Minmay figures?

Why is it I feel like Sheryl Nome is missing, wearing her Macross Frontier episode 1 concert outfit? And her final episode outfit too.

Might be partly because of the angle of the picture but yes, the three in the center are angled down more. Whatever the case, it looks good and not angled oddly in any way from where I sit and look at it from across the room. Thanks!

For anyone interested in adding a shelf or shelves to their IKEA Detolf. I bought a locker shelf from Amazon that includes two essentially upside U shaped legs for this purpose and it came out great. I secured it with Velcro tie wraps around the leg and the internal wire frame of Detolf. I also put rubber pads on top of each support to grip the glass shelf.

With the shelf on its 100% sturdy and not going anywhere.

So where do you get the actual extra shelf?  Well I wound up with three extra Detolf shelves as one of the metal rod frames was bent so when I called IKEA they actually just sent me the whole box that includes all the pieces with that part (Detolfs come in two separate boxes with different pieces). So I had the two glass sides and three glass shelves in addition to part I needed. So I made three additional shelves. I'm going to add a few more later. There are online places you can order pieces of glass from cut to your size specs which is where I'll get additional shelves from. Or also IKEA makes extra glass shelves for their "Billy" bookshelves that are not the same size (slightly smaller) but can also fit they're just not as deep.
