nightmareB4macross Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 You're collection really takes me back to the good old days.....sigh.... Quote
solo0525 Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Takatokus are so cool .. also love gakken Quote
Jasonc Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 All those Takatokus, old Bandai VF-19 Kai, V.1 Yamato VF-1, and the Robotech figures, that does take me back.Very impressive. Quote
Kicker773 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Well, if they're just going to go into a closet, why not my closet? Going into a very full closet Quote
miriya Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Woah Kicker! What is that SDF-1 on the left? Looks like a custom 80s version. Could you post some more images of that one? Quote
Kicker773 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I will when i get home. Trying to get atleast all the SDF in all scales. I think I do but not sure Quote
ps99042 Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Hey Kicker, is your collection insured? Quote
Kicker773 Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 (edited) I believe so.. but I should double check with my insurance agent just in case. Edited March 2, 2012 by Kicker773 Quote
miriya Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Thanks Kicker! That is a very cool TV version SDF-1! Quote
nightmareB4macross Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Is that the 1/4000 model kit from Imai? Looks uber cool with all the other scale variations of the SDF-1. Damn Kicker, everytime I see pics of your collection it scares me. In the way that everything in the future of Macross merchandise will only exist to end up hostage in your dark closet(s). Awesome collection!! Quote
Kicker773 Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Thanks bud I wish I had friends that are macross fans. But unfortunately I'm the only one over here that knows and appreciate it. I'm gonna try hard to go to wonderfest. What would look more cooler if I can finally find a center piece glass case big enough to fit all SDF ships including the 1/2000 and mega road. Now let's finish the 1/48 VT and VFX!!! Quote
Kicker773 Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I think the 1/4000 is the yellow sub kit. Quote
KiriK Posted February 9, 2012 Author Posted February 9, 2012 Hey Kicker, Stop organizing your photobucket account pics since your old post pics have mostly gone away. haha... you have to go back and repost all of your dead links so we can see your collection! Quote
Kicker773 Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Sorry hehehe i've been moving stuff here and there. People were using some of my pictures. I need to watermark some of them and maybe get them all together in one thread. Quote
Benson13 Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Yeah, the gloriousness of it is unparalleled. Quote
Kicker773 Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Did anyone ever save a pic of my room with just boxes on the ground everywhere? I lost that pic. I was gonna start them in chronological order lol Quote
Benson13 Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 I forgot to save it because I was to busy crying knowing that I'll never have a collection 10% its size. Quote
lykiat Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 awesome thread and i'm shy to even show my collection. unfortunately missed out on a lot of kickers pictures cos its all removed but judging from the comments, i'm sure its one hell of a collection Quote
GMANIFESS Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Some love for the lil 1/144's... i still can't decide what to do with them.... Quote
Kicker773 Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 The macross room is starting to look like a store.. especially now that I have t-shirts in there folded like the freakin GAP lol Samurai sword just in case for those who have sticky fingers.. Quote
GMANIFESS Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 The complementary Samurai sword for any collection protection is always a good idea. Quote
GMANIFESS Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Nice!! ... how tall are those Robotech Pods & that Glaug? I've wondered what scale they would be closest too. Quote
Benson13 Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Nice!! ... how tall are those Robotech Pods & that Glaug? I've wondered what scale they would be closest too. They are about 11 inches tall and fit the 3 3/4 inch Matchbox toys in them. Quote
GMANIFESS Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 They are about 11 inches tall and fit the 3 3/4 inch Matchbox toys in them. Oh ok. Cool. I was thinking more on the line of whether they would look good on a 1/60 shelf or 1/48. Guess they would go best on a 1/60 then. Thanks. Quote
Benson13 Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 I'll send you some comparison pics if you want. PM me with what you need. Quote
Mommar Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 I believe so.. but I should double check with my insurance agent just in case. Here you go Miriya Dang, why won't Yamato make a SDFM version of the SDF-1. That model of yours looks so cool. I'd love a fully transforming 1/3000 version. Quote
Kicker773 Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 (edited) Ranka got a new friend.... Edited March 2, 2012 by Kicker773 Quote
