locidm Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Thanks guys! I recently acquired the display cabinet and it's a night and day different between this and my old ikea Besto shelves. The width and depth really allows much better composition. Quote
caslon Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 It's cool how you have so much going on in that shelf yet the Minmay ties it all together. Beware of the lighting..your precious ones will get yellowing in the future...change it to L.E.D:) Quote
locidm Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 No worries. Changing to led was the first thing I did Quote
ultraman zoffy Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 For a second, I thought locidm's Ozma was holding some crazy 4-barrel blaster cannon! Very nice collection, sir. Quote
Boomstik01 Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 a few recent additions to the display shelves. 1/48 tv max courtesy of HTOWN21 Max and Miria VF-22s courtesy of KEIICHI 1/200??i think mini trading figures, picked these up at robo toyfest a while back also picked up a gx-57 yamato ben Quote

anubis20 Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 This is about as much as i can display, I will need to move something out once the armor for my ozma comes in. Quote
mass driver Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Do it Kicker. Can't get enough photos of your collection Quote
Benson13 Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Feeling and itching for a comeback So how is your new display working out for you Kicker. Quote
Kicker773 Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Display is working out okay. I have one for my Gundams and Bishoujo stuff. Trying to convince the wife to let me get 2 more detolfs, but I might have to put that on hold and save up for her birthday present which is gonna cost me for sure... I know i've been neglecting my macross side since I've been hooked on other things (1/6 and 1/4 figs).. but figured is post a few The Weathered Squads Pics I took when I was cleaning the closets.. my still MIB stuff lol The variations of Regults Quote
xrentonx Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Your collection is jaw-dropping but all that sunlight is a little worrying on that white plastic. Quote
Kicker773 Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 The room probably gets about 2-3 mins of sunlight a week. Quote
mass driver Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Awesome Kicker. Thanks for the pics. I always love looking at your stuff plus it helps me convince the wife that my collection isn't too big Quote
Kicker773 Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Just don't get your wife near mine. LOL I don't want any outside influences hehehe... But no seriously I had to slow down a bit... I'll eventually catch up with everything that's coming out. I kinda did spend a hefty amount on the Tron bike and the squad of VF11Cs. I'm waiting for my Macross BD to arrive and watch that this week. Hopefully I get a chance to if work doesn't catch up to me. =(* Oh and those Enterbay batman and joker didn't help either Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 You don't have enough Super & Strike Parts Stealth type.. Three HDP 1/60 Regult kits, awesome!!! I have two, I'm finishing one that I bought from EXO (TV scheme). Contemplating doing the green DYRL? scheme with the other. Quote
mass driver Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Tron bike. Nice. I was wondering if you were gonna get that. I thought you were only restricting your hot toys buys to Batman but I just recently saw the pics for the tron bike too and Totally understand Quote
Kicker773 Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 I know. =[ but it was just beautiful. Okay I admit I have a weakness for bikes. I have the medicom Akira bike and bat pod. Just had to add it into the mix. Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 One of my two HDP 1/60 Regult will soon roll out from the factory satellite Quote
Loop Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 One of my two HDP 1/60 Regult will soon roll out from the factory satellite Yeeess! Been waiting for pics of a completed one, can't wait Quote
Valkyrie Magnus Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Thanks for the pics Kicker! I love your Macross toys and display! Keep them coming! Quote
Kicker773 Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Thanks... I'll post some more soon. Someone suggested I start my own thread but I don't think I have that many toys yet. =) Quote
Benson13 Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Thanks... I'll post some more soon. Someone suggested I start my own thread but I don't think I have that many toys yet. =) Master of Macross started his own thread with just the 1/60 V.2 line, so I'm sure you could pull it off no problem. You could do an all Max pic session, all mech, family portraits, there's really no end to groups you could come up with. I'd be the first to follow something like that. Quote
caslon Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 One of my two HDP 1/60 Regult will soon roll out from the factory satellite It's stunning man!! Quote
anubis20 Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 That really works well together Anubis. Thanks man! I also have the Ranaka figure i wanted to put in there next to Sheryl but it started looking cluttered. Quote
MichaelS Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 what an awesome collection kicker it needs its own gallery here with subtext as history of macross.! Quote
Kicker773 Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 thanks...those pics were old pics when I just started to get to know my camera better...I'll have better focusing soon. Quote
