With the announcement of Roy's premium finish by Arcadia. I 'm absolutely positive that the factories plan to produce extra quanities to sell off. The timing just coincides perfectly. The KOs are announced a few weeks earlier than the official announcements from Arcadia. This means we will probably only see KOs of stuff that arcadia is planning on releasing and not other rare valks.

That's what I've been saying since the KOs were announced. Much more likely than what people were saying about Arcadia getting a fire lit because of KOs.

Note to KO company:  Make sure to use white plastic at the factory after Arcadia finishes their batch.

Pretty sure many here would be happy to buy fully assembled "unpainted" VF-1's with -S, -A, and -J heads included.  Arcadia better hope they don't have their molds copied.

It's like the old Takatoku KO days all over again.

Poor Arcadia.

I dunno, I feel a bit skeptical of those breaks, I mean that looks like someone really tried to make sure the clips broke. But what do I know... I don't plan to buy any of these anyways, I have 2x sets from Yamato already.

Doesn't Arcadia give you clips with their YF-19? I imagine most people just want to know if the LEDs work and that's all they'd need the knock off for.

For those not familiar with 20th century Chinese history, during the Great Leap Forward, Chairman Mao ordered farmers all over the country to start producing steel in their homes. 

Well, it turned out there's a big difference in quality between steel produced in a real factory and steel produced in some peasant's backyard furnace! 

Oh, and since all these farmers were busy producing makeshift steel instead of, you know, farming food, it contributed to the worst famine of the 20th century. 

Not a perfect parallel, that's kind of what I expect when getting a KO item. The poor quality, not the famine I mean. 

On a lighter note, I had a cat named Chairman Meow.

arcadia should learn, but seems is not enough with the price of one of the 1j valks you can pick both (m&m KO version) and now with the fan racer the choice seems very obvious

The fan racer being out of production is one thing, supporting kos in lieu of competing original product is bad show.

I already have the clear version bundled with the Angel Birds VF-1 but I don't have the time to build and paint it.

I wish I had some knock offs right about now.  I picked up my VF-1D.  I handle these toys like only once a year.  I'm careful when handling them.  I don't treat them like toys.  I treat them like expensive collectables.   This one got a crack on the shoulder pin.  I then examined all of my 1/60 and found a crack on Hikaru's Armored VF-1J too.  Didn't have them the last time I took them out of the display case.  Makes me mad these are starting to break just by standing still on display.  If I had a knock off it would be a source for spare parts.
