Moosey Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 All aboard the summer wonderfes hype train! Cmon Arcadia, throw us a bone! Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 This is my most anticipated toy. Please let there be updates!!! Quote
Sildani Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 (edited) Yep, that’s one of the wing-mounted boosters. Anticipation intensifies... Edited July 25, 2018 by Sildani Quote
Lolicon Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Mr. K give us a price and release date so I can start saving my pennies! And dimes, and quarters, and Benjamins because I know it won't be cheap. Quote
seti88 Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Sounds about right. Hope to see a completed prototype and not just parts, this weekend at WF. Quote

SuperHobo Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 (edited) Wooo progress!!! Edited July 29, 2018 by SuperHobo Quote
technoblue Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Oh? Is Arcadia bringing the launch arm stand back? Quote
seti88 Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 (edited) What seems changed on the 51? The white bits at cockpit area and back boosters? Edited July 29, 2018 by seti88 Quote
no3Ljm Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Ooooh. Nice update. And good thing it's 2019. Hoping for Fall or Winter release. I don't mind the wait. I'm also in for those stands as well. I just hope that it's mass produced and not just for event or webshop sold only. Quote
borgified Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Glad to see there's movement.. Here are some of my observations based on this resin copy: (1) No sliding pins to lock the wings together on the bottom of the wings as per the Yammie versions. The larger double folded hinges are used to keep the two separate pieces of the wings together in terms of cohesiveness (this that the proper wording for it)? (2) Interesting choice to bring back the Yamato valk stand even though some people stay that its a mess to begin with. Note that there are no screws present on this version as per the Yamato version (possibly better ratchets and stronger joints used this time). (3) A Possibly is that the white areas are the stronger or better molding methods for the hinges, nosecone area, and the shins in battriod mode. Note that all three Yammie versions of the Sukoi had its flaws (even Ivanoff's 51 had a second run.) Quote

valhary Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 I can't see significant improvements but hope Arcadia update more often all the development process Quote
Slave IV Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 The Valk looks good and I’ll take a couple of those arms too! Quote
apptt4 Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 v excited for this, I just adore the SV-51 gerwalk mode. hopefully cheap but will pay whatever it takes tbh Quote

F360 Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 I hope the SV-51 comes with the clear stands. Launch arm stands don't look right with VF-0 Quote
brouken Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Looks like they modified the base of the Launch arms. I'm guessing they made it into a container for the valk's accessories. Quote

Dobber Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 SV-51 looks good, but I really don’t see much difference to the Yamato version. I’m guessing it’s mostly hinge improvements. The lower stabilizers still aren’t angled down enough. Chris Quote
lechuck Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 (edited) What happened to its main body section in Battroid, look very stubby to me. Edited July 29, 2018 by lechuck Quote
Moosey Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Thank god there is news of this. Roll on 2019! Quote
valhary Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Honestly I'm a little disappointed I was hoping a more detailed head and is practically is the same Quote
spacemanoeuvres Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Interested in those launch arms, hope they work better than the Yamato versions. I was never keen on the SV-51 but it looks good. Quote

I guess it goes to show how close Yamato got to the original CAD used in the OVA. Quote
