Awww dang. I really like the ratchets on the old Yamato's ankles. Hmm I forgot if the Yamato one had ankle tilts, does the Arcadia have ankle tilts for inversion movement?

Compatible with the old Yamato simple stand and I'm assuming it'll work with the newer Arcadia stand.

I'm confused. How did you get it on the yeti stand if we need a new adapter? Sweet looking set up

I'm guessing he means a replacement for the Arcadia one.  It looks...blocky?

The default adapter is blocky and doesn't attach at the center of gravity. I've always preferred Yeti's adapters.

Today I received mine not big difference with the Yamato 

Definitely more solid particularly in battroid mode but worries me the wings not have any lock system so with the time probably become loose

Got it. Well here's to hoping he makes a new adapter! I already have my VF-0S on a stand ready and waiting.

There's a reason it's my all time favorite valk, looks perfect in all three modes. I really wish they didn't put that bar covering the sensors across the face though. In the series, it had a retractable visor.  It's always permanent visor down.

Wow, this bird sure is pretty and it appears the improvements over the older version is quite satisfactory imo  No more floppiness and it seems more sutdy. I wanted to wait for Nora but this black on black gives it a black crow feel, which is pretty nice.

Good they did away with those pesky magnets for some solid tabs. Covering up the gap near the head in fighter mode was a nice touch. The wing hinges and overall figure seems to be  much tighter than the old one. The double joint elbows are a welcome addition. So.....a first release new mold from Arcadia and no major issues so far? No disengaging hips or breakages or comically loose shoulders?

Just finished watching the review.  

This version is definitely a huge step from the Yammie version. Now that I'm waiting for Nora's version to be released, don't know what I'm going to do with the older version. Most likely going for the non-PE version unless there a good deal to be found.

Feeling very nostalgic, I remember waiting for the newly released Yamato Ivanov sv-51 way back in 2007. I thought that thing was the business back then. She is a big bird and even in battroid mode it would dwarf any of my 1/6 Gecco figures. I need to get a stand sorted out now.

I don't even have mine yet, and now I can't wait for Nora and possibly CF so I can have it posed in multiple modes. I spose I might buy a second Ivanov even, but not for $400.

I just realized....didn’t the original Yammie have the extra ammo pack for the gun that stacked on top of each other? This seems to only have the one.

Edit: Looking at my pictures the Yamato did indeed have the extra ammo pack. That pack also helped fill the gap between the legs where the gun pod attaches. Strange Arcadia omitted it.
