Toonz Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 Not sure if this was posted before but I'd like to share Nao Toyama's cover version, Do You Remember Love? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mS_SZiQ3lvU I wonder why didn't they use this version in Delta because the music arrangement is so beautiful! Crossboy Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 Because the Macross music producer is Flying Dog (Victor Entertainment). Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai albums were released by Geneon Universal. Quote
Marzan Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 She's got a very pleasant voice and it's a pretty nice cover. She's kind of hard to hear amongst some of the other members of Walkure and I kind of wonder how much she has to change her intonation to play Reina. Quote
trojan_gambit Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Nice. Compared to other covers, I found that this cover (& her voice) is the closest to Mari Ijima's Ai Oboete Imasuka. Quote

In case you haven't heard it, here's the "One Nao Show." Yes, Touyama Nao voices everyone by herself here. Quote
Marzan Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 Pretty impressive range she exhibits here! You could never guess it was the same voice behind Reina. Quote
kajnrig Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 It finally hit me. Toyama Nao/Reina reminds me of Megumi Hayashibara playing Ayanami Rei from Evangelion. Before NGE, her big role was Female Ranma from Ranma 1/2, and after NGE, she's probably best known around here for being Lina Inverse from Slayers, or Faye from Cowboy Bebop. All very loud, very vocal characters. Ayanami Rei couldn't have been more against type. You can hear the Ranma/Lina/Faye creeping through in the final episode, during the alternate reality sequence. Anyway, nice find. I always dig good covers of this song. Quote
no3Ljm Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Nice cover. Better than the one used in Delta. Quote
