Hmmm. What I think? It would be nice to have a back-to-back VR date game with Lynn Minmay and Makina Nakajima. And pilot a VT-1 and VF-31 with one of them off the Rings of Saturn while listening to Sunset Beach and Hametsu no Junjou. Lovely.

Personally it would be nice if it was a cockpit sim or a ride.

Cockpit ride in the VF-11 !? That would be cool !. 

Though come to think of it a ride around the sdf-1 dyrl sounds really good too . The rings of Saturn idea? Nice !.

Hmm it'll probably be a PS4 game since that seems to be the go to for most developers. I'd love to have it be full cockpit look around in all 3 modes with complete control via controller or stick and maybe to be as fun to play as Macross 30. We have the technology, now we just need someone to do it!

Hopefully it's a VR Variable Fighter combat game for the PS4 and not a VR Macross dating sim!!!

Just give me a game like Macross Ultimate Frontier, with a higher atmospheric ceiling, PS3 graphics like from Macross 30 would be fine,  VR support for every mech/vehicle in the game, bring back the custom soundtrack option, and give us ONLINE PLAY! That would be my definitive Macross experience!

Probably vaporware at this point as there's been no further announcements since February.

My Christmas present would be VR DYRL and a 1/6 Minmay figure. It could just be the few VF-1 scenes from DYRL too in a larger Macross VR game but I would be crazy happy. They could do the opening, Minmay singing in the back seat which would be awesome in VR with good surround sound, Max battle, and final battle. Anything else would be a bonus.
