Yf-30 vs. Vf-31 heads

Hey,

I'm looking for answers regarding the similarity between any Vf-31 heads to the original Yf-30 head. Does any one variant of the 31 have a head very similar to or the Same as the prototype?

Personally, I think the 31F is the closest looking to the prototype. I'm having great difficulty finding the original Macross Delta site with images of the battroids though. The 31C might be close as well.

They definitely are not a direct match. I still think the 31F is the closest overall though.

I agree. Not close enough to proxy though, and with the other features the prototype carries I will have to do a lot of work to convert a -31 to the -30 in my given scale of 1/72. Does anyone make a resin upgrade or full kit to represent the -30?

Looking at these made me realize i didn't know how the heads of the E and C looked like. I had a vague idea of the c but no idea with the E. You think the show would have done a better job of showcasing these valks.

Yep. There is one. Vf-31j. It almost became two but the vf31f is soon forgotten.
