tokyo recommendations--macross toy and others

Hello

I have an 8 day stay in tokyo, and I am wondering if anyone can recommend anything good to do and see related to macross and other toys in the city. I'm already going to cruise by akihabara, but if you know any cool exhibits , museums or company headquarters with cool display collections, I'd super appreciate any recommendations!! Also any specific store names , aside from the main ones people always use on this site. O yeah , I'm also looking for cool Japanese masks!!

I was there in april. the skytree didn't have a huge event or anything. its more like they stuck it in a corner and left the large display there.

I didn't see much of 1/60 macross items in Tokyo recently. My preference is online shops.
