areaseven Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 "And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti." In late August 2014, it was revealed that the third installment of The Boondock Saints was in planning, with the working title The Boondock Saints 3: Legion. Just today, Norman "Murphy McManus" Reedus confirmed on his Reddit AMA that "It's in the works. Happening." He also mentioned that he wants his "brother" Sean Patrick "Connor McManus" Flanery to join him in The Walking Dead. Meanwhile, writer/director Troy Duffy stated in an interview that he is halfway finished with the script. No word on when filming will begin or when it will be released. Wolf-1 Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 (edited) Both Scripts are finished! Two, I say, one for the 3rd film. The other for the upcoming prequel t.v. season(s). New brothers will be found for the t.v. series; however, other cast members from the films will make appearances, some as those we know, others will take on new roles to help build on their original rolls. The film will have the brothers we all know and love back and picking up where they were left at. Simply befriend Boondock Saints on F.B. and Troy Duffy(creator) has several videos explaining what to expect and where the funding is coming from and its not "crowd" funded. Mommar Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 I don't think it needed more than the first movie... Isn't Billy Connolly ill or something too? I'm not sure he can show up for anything anymore. Quote

The second film was centered on his origin story and the betrayal that set everything in motion. There are several things that Hollywood and humanity should leave be, unfortunately that is not in our nature. Quote
