Yeah, I was so excited at first when I saw his tweet, thinking "Oh boy they're gonna do a Roy too!"

Then I saw his comment that he was merely modifying the Ichijo figure.

Well I hope they do produce the PLAMAX Roy too.

I know these Playmax figures have eye decals, but do they come with just one set or do they include extras?

Don't know about the others, but Hikaru figure came with FIVE whole pairs of eyes and eyebrows. They do seem to expect people to need the extras.

Really wish that Max would build out the rest of the VF-31 and VF-25 at this scale and sell full Fighter mode kits. I'd buy and build those. Just producing the nosecone is such a tease....

Are they doing matching pilot figs, for all the cockpit-only ones?  A VF-25 would allow for many characters.   (and if they do a VF-27, we could get Grace....)

Eh, not really sure how explosive the joints are gonna be at that scale but at least this should serve as a starting point for fixing the post and then puttying over the joints.

I haven’t seen anything new yet. Max Factory and Goodsmile often tease things months in advance and other time it goes from tease to immediate preorder.

Same here. As long that it's based on Mikimoto-san's original design than his updated design, I'm golden.

I totally agree on preferring the original design.  I would love to find a 3D sculptor that could capture the nuances of Mikimoto's original face designs. Then we could print these out at larger scales.
