Bub Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 (edited) Quote All updates and downloaded files should be on the memory card, which you need to format if you want to switch your account to one of a different country. No data apart from the game itself would be stored on the game cartridge Thanks. That means the only way I can play the update and downloads is with the Japanese account. Correct, if your going to play japanese and english games on the vita/PSTV it's best to have a card for each region. Quote
Bub Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 I read somewhere before that it’s not easy changing the account just by swapping memory card. You’ll always need to ”reformat” your PS Vita / PSTV every time you change your memory card. Is this true? Quote

This is correct, it's why it's suggested to do a backup on the card and mark which is for which region. Quote
Hikaru1234567890 Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 So beat all the missions will all S/SS rankings and I am confused, as to why the game hasn't given me the option to buy the valkyrie unlock for the campaign. How do you unlock it? Quote

Yes, got SS Rank on all of them, do I have to unlock all valkyries first? and what I meant is why can't I use the YF-30 In the campaign mode. Edited February 8, 2018 by Hikaru1234567890 Quote
Focslain Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Ok, I have to check my game later, but this might help... In the store make sure you have purchased all three of the limiters (fourth selection in the store), if any of the options are grayed out then tell me which ones (ie the first, second and or thrid, going from left to right) Next to use the YF-30 you need to have bought it. If you have it your good, buying all the valks does earn you a trophy, but otherwise not needed to unlock them. I only know this because I was able to use the YF-19 in all the mission to earn credits to buy said valks. Honestly to get the campaign limiter you only need to beat the two story modes and not even at S rank. Quote

Focslain Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 There are a set of bonus missions that unlock after you S some of the story missions, but that shouldn't stop you from getting the campaign limiter as you only need to complete the two main story lines. If it is a bug, uninstalling and reinstalling the game might fix it. To be fair, Scramble isn't that hard on the Xoas side and the Windimere side only a little bit harder since you don't have an Ex-Makina for support. Best to use one of the twins for health early and then switch to Bogue for his unlimited ammo ability in the final fights. So redoing it isn't too hard as long as you haven't ground out ever mecha and thier limiter unlocks. Quote
NoctisTalem Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Hey sorry to revive this thread, i just recently got the Paid DLC, and is there prerequisites to access it? Quote

Graham Posted January 14 Posted January 14 So, I sold my PS Vita TV and Macross Delta Scramble years ago. But I've recently had a desire to play Macross Delta Scramble again, so I just ordered the game and a second hand PS Vita, which is on the way. Anybody know if the Delta DLC is still available on the Japanese Playstation store? Quote

I think the playstation store for vita was shut down, so no - unless you download the DLC from somewhere and CFW/HEN your vita, you'll be out of luck. Quote

I've actually got the Macross Delta Scramble ROM and all DLC downloaded on my Android phone, as I was hoping to be able to play it on my phone using the Vita3K emulator. However, Vita emulation is still in its early days and and the game crashes after the game's loaded when I try to go into Hanger or Missions from the game menu. That's kinda what I expected though as Macross Delta Scramble is one of the games listed as currently having a low compatibility with Vita3K. Hopefully Macross Delta Scramble may run better with future versions of Vita3K. Anyway, once the PS Vita 2000 I ordered arrives, I'll look into trying CFW/HEN. Just been doing some light reading on it now. Quote

I have been testing around with configurations and can actually get to the point where it loads a mission, but then rendered stuff is either black or, fittingly, highly scrambled. Quote
Graham Posted January 23 Posted January 23 The second hand PS Vita 2000 I ordered was just delivered to my office. Just finished resetting it and getting it logged into my Japanese PSN account. Surprisingly Vita content is still available on the Japanese PSN store. However, the digital version of the Delta Scramble game while shown in the Japanese PSN store is listed as not available for purchase. Couldn't find the Delta DLC. I don't have the Macross Delta Scramble game cartridge with me now, it's at home, so will get it set up when I get home tonight and then let's see if at least the free DLC is still available once I have the game loaded in the Vita. If not, then I need to start learning about how the get the .PKG Macross Delta DLC I downloaded from a third party site installed on the Vita. Quote
Graham Posted Thursday at 10:31 AM Posted Thursday at 10:31 AM Was able to jailbreak my Vita last night. Actually, it's pretty easy to follow all the steps on the various videos on YouTube. So, I've now got the DLC I downloaded installed. Having a real blast replaying this game again after many years. Quote

Scramble is probably the only game I want to play on Vita, maybe uncharted too, but I've been told Golden Abyss pretty much sucks and does nothing to Nathan Drakes story. I don't want to purchase a console to play only one game on it (again). Quote

I haven't set it up yet though. 😅 I'm the same, Macross Delta Scramble is pretty much the only game I want to play on Vita. Actually over the decades most of my consoles were bought specifically to play Macross games. Of course I bought and played other games. I just got my old PS3 set up and it still works after so many years. The only issue was the battery in the controller has died, so I've got a replacement battery on order. Been having fun the last few days playing the Macross Last Frontier PS3 game. Quote

Been having fun the last few days playing the Macross Last Frontier PS3 game. yeah, last November I dedusted my PS3, got new thermal paste onto it and did some general cleaning of the insides, replacing pads and as well, replacing controller batteries. I got some fancy ones off eBay with double the capacity the original ones have. Then I also added a bigger SSD as the old 120gb HDD was horribly slow and degrading. I got platin on Macross 30 in December and 100% all the hybrid pack games. The only Macross game missing for me now is Scramble... (except for my emulation attempts with Vita3K). Quote
