derex3592 Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 (edited) Yeh, Nancy and Will's brother didn't really have a whole lot going on this season, other than the "so, how was the pull out?" scene, which pretty much made me crack up! Edited November 6, 2017 by derex3592 Quote
peter Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 Binge watched it this weekend as well, and I liked it as much as I liked the first season, not much for me to complain about. Quote
Valkyrie Hunter D Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 What a fun romp through the 80's. My wife and I love the show. I will say this though: if I'm ever digging a hole in the dirt and the hole emits a horrific screeching sound, never in my mind will be an urge to jump in said hole. Quote
505thAirborne Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Finally finished it tonight, really enjoyed season 2. Loved the soundtrack, solid acting and a great ending IMO. Can't wait to see what they come up with for Season 3. Quote
Dynaman Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 They have the eighties mall scarily correct. Though they did go a little overboard. Scarier is how well they replicated a cheesy local station commercial. Quote
Dynaman Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 There was something bothering me, just a little, about that trailer and now I figured it out. For the first time Stranger Things started to slightly Parody the eighties rather than try to faithfully recreate it. I'm guessing it was just for the cheesy commercial and will not be part of the next season - parody would kill the mood of the show. Quote
TangledThorns Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 (edited) Man, and I thought the breaks between Game of Thrones seasons were painfully long. Edited January 2, 2019 by TangledThorns Quote
Thom Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 This is approaching WW84 level of anxious waiting. Quote
jenius Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 I felt like this show should have gone international with different groups and spins each time, only connected by the other dimension. I liked season 2 but I'm worried about all the trips to the same well. Quote
Dobber Posted March 20, 2019 Author Posted March 20, 2019 I’m finding I love the Steve/Dustin friendship/bromance. Chris Quote
505thAirborne Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 I am so hyped for this, definitely one of my favorite Netflix series! Quote
Thom Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Looking so very cool! Really hoping for more of a S1 than another S2-vibe, though I did like S2. But the Hawkins Gang is back together again! Quote
technoblue Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 Sweet. I’m really curious about the mall setting, and whether this season is going to have something of a Day of the Dead vibe. Quote

TangledThorns Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 For those that can't wait then check out DARK. New season is on Netflix now. Quote
Dynaman Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Was this season a dud? I've only had a chance to watch the first episode so far but I expected a lot more conversation about the show by now. Quote

That being said I think the second season of DARK released late last month kinda spoiled things for us. DARK has a way deeper plot and far better acting. Quote

Loved the season, but soaking in the story implications. Quote
kajnrig Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Isn't this supposed to be the final season? Or does the ending imply a continuation? I haven't checked the season myself yet - still bingeing Jojo - so I wouldn't know. Quote

derex3592 Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 I'm just two episodes in as of now, liking the new season ok, gotta go outta town for work this week and won't have time to watch anymore until I get back. Dangit. Quote
