F360 Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Does anyone know if the tampo on the actual unit still says "X105 Strike Gundam" on the front right skirt? Or did they change the tampo on it to say "Mecha Worrior/Warrior"? I'll take some close ups once I get off work , just arrived yesterday still at my works mail room. Do any third party GM's exist? Not that I know of. Quote
slaginpit Posted May 25, 2016 Author Posted May 25, 2016 like we have gotten over 11 billion zakus already. yeah but we never got a metal build wink wink Do any third party GM's exist? Not yet on the way, There are rumblings that some 3rd party Transformers company is going to branch out into gundams Quote
F360 Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 (edited) The front skirt armor shows X105 Strike Gundam Pilot: Kira Yamato Height: 17.72m Weight: 64.8t O.M.N.I. ENFORCED MOBILE SUIT Other than the base all the tampo on the mobile suit will say gundam when needed , no mecha warrior tampo , It's pretty heavy , it's 2100g in box and and 760g for naked gundam Quality is excellent too , definitely worth the price. F360 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 New images from Fanmade (the 3rd party company that made Metal Saga vanishing trooper) looks like they are going to be making a Quanta (Qan[T]) also. it says winter 2016 , but I doubt it's that early. And a future project for 2017 Fanmade = Metal Saga MoShow = Metal Build Plus Both have released 1 mobile suit Currently Moshow seems to be the better one in pretty much all the category Quote
eggy99 Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 (edited) Anyone got their Preorder in for Moshow Metal Build Pro 1/100 MS-OOQ? https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1080340615379429&id=917096455037180&refid=17&_ft_=top_level_post_id.1080340615379429%3Atl_objid.1080340615379429%3Athid.917096455037180%3A306061129499414%3A2%3A0%3A1472713199%3A6874716657147050667&__tn__=C I've put my preorder in with a local seller here in Australia. Funny that there are 2 companies doing a version of Quanta. Would like if they took on some UC stuff, since Bandai would be releasing US under the GFF MC line, which hasn't seen any innovation since the RX-78 Origin release - So far it has been continual releases of Unicorn, which is built on an old mold, which is showing its age. Loop Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Hmmm, and that looks like it would scale with the current Metal build toy line. Has anyone tried to figure out the actual scaling on the current Metal Build toys? I always just say 1/100 but maybe I'm wrong. Quote

Has anyone tried to figure out the actual scaling on the current Metal Build toys? I always just say 1/100 but maybe I'm wrong. When you compare the MB with their MG 1/100 counterpart it's pretty much the same in dimension. So anything Gundam 1/100 should scale well with it. This new line Metal Build Pro is 1/100 so it should fit just right, unlike the previous 1/72 Strike . but then when you put the 1/72 Strike with 1/72 Macross stuff it should fit too, just a clash of universe thing. eggy99 Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Metal Build Blue Destiny would be the bomb! Quote
dizman Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Oooooh I hope that BD-1 comes with a crushed GM head in hand accessory! Quote
F360 Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 I hope it's a complete set, similar to the old GFF where you can change parts, heads, etc so it becomes different version. Quote
chyll2 Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 I got my KO Seven Sword. Inner package is loose, making the box easier to get crumpled. Quote
eggy99 Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Oh wow! Interested to know how it compares to the original Bandai Metal Build Seven Swords 00 Gundam. Quote

no3Ljm Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 I got my KO Seven Sword. Inner package is loose, making the box easier to get crumpled. Nice! I'm waiting for mine as well. Hopefully this week. Now I have to hunt used MG Seven Sword kit so I can get the GN Blaster Rifle from it. Quote
chyll2 Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 The stand uses cheap plastic but they did not skimped on the main suit. Quote
F360 Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 From some of the preorders , an red version of the metal gear seven sword is going to be release near the end of this month . So if you get both of them you can have a M and M display , well kinda , if they pilot gundams . Quote
F360 Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Looks like the ko 00r raiser version is suppose to be out around January 2017 too Quote
eggy99 Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 (edited) another video of the Metal Gear Metal Build Seven Swords 00 Gundam Based on the comments from tha YT video it sounds like Bandai came down on MoShow. That's the video I've been watching for a week now. yeah, i didn't really notice it until I was looking up more info on their RED seven sword. It's funny that the sample pic of the red version is a custom MG, and then put a red x on the GN Sword II Blaster, (not included) If only Metal Gear/ MC would also release a 1/100 GN Sword II Blaster, now that would be awesome. True. But atleast they confirmed that the GN Blaster from MG kit is compatible without doing modifications to it. I asked my officemate who is Chinese regarding one photo I found online that has some text on it. So that's good news. I like some red on my Valks but for some reasons I'm more into blues when it comes to Gundams. Hehehe. Quote
no3Ljm Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Mine arrived today. This figure is so great for a KO. I ordered another one. Quote
F360 Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 (edited) looks like we ordered from the same store. here's some quick photos and details. It's a really awesome KO. Details looks good, some very minor bit here and there, but that's pretty much QC. Articulation is nice and tight, with some spots a bit too tight. (thighs) The diecast and plastic used on the figure looks and feels about the same as a real metal build. The clear parts are not as clear but still very good. The weapons /swords are all nicely done. The display stand's plastic quality is lower than the Figures, but will clip and lock without issues. The hands fit a bit too tight, changing them can take a bit of time since you don't want to use too much force. The slots on the shoulder armor that you use to mount your big GN sword on is very tight, same for the clip ons too. might be a good idea to trim them before putting them into the slots. If you don't you will need to take the shoulder armor apart and push the clips out with force. (it's easy to remove that part since it only use 1 screw) Overall it's very nice and definitely worth the price. I'll probably pick up the future red version and their oo rasiser some close up of the diecast and joints, The slots on the shoulder armor that you use to mount your big GN sword on is very tight, same for the clip ons too. might be a good idea to trim them before putting them into the slots. (it's easy to remove that part since it only use 1 screw) before and after of a similar clip,by the way, after all this. the outer blue armor looks fine, and the clips are still too tight, lol. I'll will trim them down next time. Edited October 22, 2016 by F360 Quote
eggy99 Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Wow that is really cool! Nice that they improved on the original Bandai release. My Bandai MB is definitely a bit floppy in places especially after attaching the 0 Raiser. In other news to commemorate the demise the MoShow (I assume Bandai destroyed them and threatened all retailers who were taking preorders), I purchased the MBPro Strike / Mecha Warrior, even though it isn't in 1/100 scale. Didn't want to miss the opportunity to own such an awesome 3rd party figure. Will be taking the place of the tiny 1/144 GFF Next Strike I have in my detolf. Now I hope Bandai don't make a surprise announcement on the 28th and announce a MB Strike Full Package release. FML if they do - hahaha. It would be really interesting if Bandai announces MB QanT due to taking the molds from MoShow's upcoming QanT that was vanished from existence. Quote
SuperHobo Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Dammit, I really wanted that Mo Show 00Quanta. But who knows maybe it resurface? Quote
eggy99 Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 I hope so too. The store I preordered from has deleted all MoShow products from their site, and the QanT has passed the estimated release date. Also their Facebook page has been deleted. Comments from one of the Metalgear KO 00 Gundam Seven Swords YouTube videos mentioned they got taken down by Bandai, which seems to make sense with their sudden disappearance online. Truely sad and they were really going to give Bandai a run for their money. 1/100 with LEDs! AMAZING! Quote
JB0 Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Wish I could say I was surprised. But they were gleefully reusing Bandai's designs and trademarks without even a cursory attempt to pretend they were merely "inspired by". Though to be fair, some of the earliest "unofficial Transformer" were flat-out bootlegs of the Hasbro/Takara products, and I was always surprised they never got the hammer dropped. I guess not using the actual trademarks really does matter. Quote
