@Slave IV speaking of office shelf Macross collections, I have been sending a few shipments to my work address, they will probably be smuggled home some time soon.

Nice! In my case, I brought stuff from home to the office because I have no more space to store or display at home!

Are you in Richmond?!

If you're that close, we should meet up sometime.

Help me find a 1/48 Roy that won't cost me my left nut, lol!

I'm actually in the Victoria/Fraserview area and half a minute drive from S.E. Marine Drive! I'll PM you sometime soon.  ;)

There is a Roy listed Manda -  https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1097459635&ref=list

Note: It's the crappy version actually.

There's that list of all the 1/48 variants half way down the page.

Edit: I know of two TFW2005 members in the Richmond area and one of them I chat every now and then (plus we have the same interests in 1/6th figures besides TFs). :p

There's one on Fleabay with strike pack for $294 CAD, but it's yellowed to hell....

You wouldn't be able to tell from the box, it was only issued once as a 1.0 and at least four other times in the same box with the improvements.

Thanks!  I remember visiting your guide to check the inside of the nosecone on mine to see if it’s v1.1, when I got my 1/48 around 10 years ago!

Only the Roy and Hikaru were reissued like Jenius said at least three or four times with the latest version having new art boxes. E0C986FC-C32B-400E-9665-C40B2BDE5BBF.jpeg.ff877e7ef9cb9136916aa3ca8dc4f4fd.jpeg

You guys are the closest people to me I’ve encountered. Though I’m still 9 hrs north of you.

Hmm.. My guess is Prince Rupert (or are you closer to the BC/Alberta border)?

@Kicker773 - So I take it that you have the skills to "Tetris-ize" all those boxes and the surrounding areas to the best of your abllity.

It's a shame the 1/48 line is dead, and also that the 1/60 line has reached 1/48 prices, so even if they decide to scale up again, it would not entice me to get more

My humble collection of my 1/48's. I switched over to other stuff. But personally I love this size and the gimmicks on the 1/48 series. Will display again once i settle down. My Low Vis has the velcro front flap.

Looks like a fair amount of us have a 1/48 Low Vis 1a in our collection. ^_^ I doubt that the DX VF-1 will carry on with the odd paint schemes like the Yammie version.

Such a cool paint scheme , I agree. I love all of my non-canon 1/48s

Those 1/48 collections are amazing! :shok:

I must steal that Glaug...

I'm itching to get the Orguss in that scale (and that X-Plus King G tops it off as well).

What's is scale for the Megahouse one if anyone has a copy at hand?

Thanks guys.

I am m still customizing just not as fast or as much as before.

The VF-1X X-Ray version is created from the poster found in the Gold Book. This is truly a labor of love and lots of work has gone into keeping the integrity and transformation. The picture attached shows the process to lay out the frame with blue painter’s tape. The cuts are done with a Dremel to bore through each panel and delicately cut by hand with a dull XActo knife. It takes forever but it looks really cool!

Tha Glaug is a MLZ22 Kit, and so is the Regult. Both have amazing details and measure well in true scale with the 1/48s.

I hope to share more in the coming months.
