Original fan Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Someone pointed me in this direction to attempt to locate someone that was selling 1/100 scale pilot figures for the VF series models. Any info is greatly appreciated. Quote
NZEOD Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 didnt know anyone was doing them that small. I struggle to find 1/72 ones! Quote
jvmacross Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 The only ones that I know of are found in the 1/100 Macross Factory kit.... I recently purchased a set of 1/100 Gunpla builders 1/100 figurines, but there are no "pilot" figures...at least not seated...plus they are probably "Gundam" based...but still look good in Macross 1/100 dioramas.... https://www.hlj.com/product/BAN976505/Gun Quote
jvmacross Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Wave 1/100 Mobile Staff Nice find....went ahead and ordered at set to see if they work out with the HMR line...they remind me of the Macross flight deck crew when it's in space... ahhh if only the Gunpla stuff was 1/72! Yeah...many of the 1/72 accessories also scale well with 1/60 Macross toys... Quote
NZEOD Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 (edited) I've had to use Elhiem 20mm figures for my UM Spacy and UN Marine ground Troops They are a good fit next to the 1/72 LAV Edited March 8, 2016 by NZEOD Quote
crazysteve Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 The old Arii variable valk models came with pilot figures. You can track down one of the Bandai reissues relatively easily nowadays. If you buy a 1D you could also get a bonus Minmay. I don't think they look particularly good by today's standards but they're officially licensed Macross products intended for that purpose and scale. Old Zoids drivers may also work. Quote
Duymon Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Wave 1/100 Macross VF-1's all have a nice DYRL pilot. GO buy one of those, then buy some casting materials and make ur own lol. That's what I used to do for the beautiful Tamiya 1/48 F-16 pilot so that I could have accurate airmen in my US fighter planes Quote
