A low-vis version of each Strike set? It's possible, but would take some work. I have my old Yamato low-vis sets I could go back to, in terms of colors, but there's a Hasegawa kit that recently came out that would likely be a better place to start for inspiration:

Anything where you need a white decal or have to put a color decal on top of a background other than plain white (kite on black stripes, white modex numbers on the black section of the leg fins, white skulls on the vertical stabilizers and boosters...) is going to be very challenging.

I may decide to bin the idea of trying to do it myself and just buy decals in the end, but I probably won't even be able to see the kit for at least a year or so (at my in-laws in Japan).

Have a number of large credits to use at everyone’s favorite retailer (NY) so I decided to use it on a PLAMAX MF-45 MINIMUM FACTORY VF-1. 
 

We shall see if they actually ship it. I’m not holding my breath.

Got a request for additional shipping for EMS from NY to northeastern U.S:

MF-45 VF-1 - 21,400

Initial Shipping for surface - 5,650

They said EMS only and want an additional - 12,750

...so they want 21,400 for the unit and 18,400 for shipping via EMS?

seems a bit spendy

I would recommend trying to get your money back through Paypal, your CC or your bank if you can, before its too late like a lot of people.  They are total scum and they fukked so many people, just look in here:

I think it'd look more natural if the 'knees' were just more separated out from the thighs.
