DarkHawk Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 I noticed a few pictures of a vf-5000g for what appears to be for 25000.00 yen. Is it a toy? If it is, who is producing it? Quote
McFly!! Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 It was an Experten kit. Thanks for the info on this! Do you know the scale? 1/72? Seems a bit pricey for a kit though, Quote
wmkjr Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=43278 1/72 scale. In the model section. Quote
Valkyrie addict Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 It's a 1/72 fully transformable model from Experten. They've previously released a 1/100 model of the same valk. They produce a lot of obscure valks in 1/100. Have a look at the model section and search for them. Sadly their kits are mostly WF exclusive or very hard and expensive to get. Quote
McFly!! Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Thanks for the info, guys! I'll hold out for a chogokin then. =) Quote
biggooftoybox Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Thanks for answering this question. I too wanted to ask the same thing. So I understand a little on the licensing for Macross, however which Macross license would the VF-5000G fall into? And hence what other valkyries could be produced if a company got that particular license? Quote
Jefuemon Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 I think this is just a one-off licensing deal for conventions. You contact Big West with what you want to make and sell, and they'll tell you nay or yay. And if it's a go, they'll also limit you to 20 kits, or something. That's why these event-only garage kits are so rare and expensive. Quote
