Mommar Posted May 17, 2023 Author Posted May 17, 2023 I wonder why the no gun rule doesn't seem to applynto Mezco? I am happy to have the two bandoleirs though. Th3 cape on the branch is a nice touch too. Quote
borgified Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 D Amazing on Mr, Freeze. Looks like single joined elbows on this guy. Quote
Tking22 Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 He looks frakking gorgeous, I expected limited articulation due to the suit, not entirely a deal breaker. I'm keeping my pre-order, I'm still in for mine. Quote
Mommar Posted May 23, 2023 Author Posted May 23, 2023 (edited) Mine has been in "Processing" since the 6th... He has more articulation than I expected. I'm good with it. Edited May 23, 2023 by Mommar Quote
Mommar Posted June 1, 2023 Author Posted June 1, 2023 Wow, Freeze is a ROYAL dissappointment. If it had been the standard 11 month wait it would have su ked but 38 months for this? It's absolutely terrible. Quote

It takes a ton of work to get the arms positioned like someone is pointing a rifle with two hands. The design for the boots limits ankle articulation too. The design of the gun gets in the way of the handle. The handle desing combined with how flexible the hands are makes positioning the gun without being ripped from his grip a chore. The idea they came up with for the frost effects is really cool and it looks good but this thing isn't any fun to handle at all. This pose is pushing the limits of his pants, ankles and elbow/shoulder movement. The gun is barely staying put in his hands. Quote

It looks like they went for a lot of texture in the cloth, maybe that’s what’s holding back the posing. I’ve been tempted on some of their releases, but I’m not a big enough fan of cloth on action figures personally. The smaller scale appeals to me, but I guess I haven’t been convinced that cloth is the way to go in this size Quote
borgified Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 (edited) Edit: It’s an Exclusive. Possibly BBTS might have stock when it’s either waitlisted/sold out when Mezco’s website has announced it’s all gone officially gone? Edited June 21, 2023 by borgified Quote
Mommar Posted July 5, 2023 Author Posted July 5, 2023 I'm pretty sure I made a joke about MEzco making a Blue/Gold Wolverine after Hasbro released theirs and it looks like I was completely right. Quote
Mommar Posted July 5, 2023 Author Posted July 5, 2023 There's a second image... as if we don't k ow what the training costume looks like. Quote
Mommar Posted July 6, 2023 Author Posted July 6, 2023 I went ahead and ordered. I have a lot of love for that particular costume... would've preferred Rogue or something though. Quote

borgified Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 Wondering if Mezco will ever make a regular Gold Team Bishop as I didn’t like the first release. Now waiting for Gaslights Bats to release and then Baron von Doom in October/November providing that the scheduled dates that Toypaige posted don’t change. Quote

borgified Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 I'm calling a secondary half melted face for Toht when him the the rest of the henchmen are dissolving while the Spirits from the Ark of the Covenant are flying around and creating havoc. Quote

Mommar Posted July 21, 2023 Author Posted July 21, 2023 Except for the movie properties I'm becoming concerned how many of their One:12 figures appear to be getting One:10 heads. Quote
