I really like that Mezco is building there own figure line but does their line fit in with my collection? I hesitated pre-ordering a copy but exclusive Mezco figures never really lose there value. So if doesn't fit in with my collection later one I should be able to get most of my money back. Depends what's in your collection. Do you have the Mezco Aquaman? He looks like somebody Aquaman would fight. Or maybe a Mr Freeze Henchman of some kind? You could custom/swap a head and make him some other kind of henchman too. He's actually in stock right now too. That means they're shipping within a wee already. Quote
borgified Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 Baron Bends is now in the "Wait list". For those that wanted a copy, you got your wish. Quote
Mommar Posted May 6, 2020 Author Posted May 6, 2020 It's cool that Baron Bends is on it's way but... I do have all of these pre-orders from thirteen months ago I'd prefer ship first. Quote

borgified Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 (edited) Up for grabs this Wednesday: DMX Blade Review done by D Amazing on his Youtube channel @Mommar, @Tking22, @General Rasp - Going for it guys? Edited May 11, 2020 by borgified Quote
Mommar Posted May 11, 2020 Author Posted May 11, 2020 I just don't think I care about this release. Quote
Mommar Posted May 11, 2020 Author Posted May 11, 2020 (edited) They should have made a 70's-style Blade. I'd have been all over a figure that looked like one of these. Edited May 11, 2020 by Mommar Quote
borgified Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 Going to post this here regardless MDX Blade for $85 USD (Limit 2). To be released May-June 2020 https://www.mezcotoyz.com/one-12-collective-blade-mdx-edition Quote
Tking22 Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 Meh, it's a pass for me, I have the originally released Blade and I like the look of that one much more. Quote
borgified Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 (edited) I do like the regular version as well. The New York Toy Fair 2019 version was snapped up quickly and scalped at insane prices!! Edit: It was the New York 2019 edition not SDCC! Edited May 13, 2020 by borgified Quote
Mommar Posted May 13, 2020 Author Posted May 13, 2020 This is such a bad exclusive it's still available right now. Betcha that 70's version would have disappeared instantly. Quote
borgified Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 This might take more than a few days to sell out.. Did the first version of Blade go very quickly or not @Mommar as I can't recall, although I did get it. The NY Toyfair 2019 version was another story. Quote

The original Blade is still available at retail price at a bunch of different spots online. As I type this BBTS still has it in stock for the price I paid back when it first released, got mine from BBTS too, I don't think I ever saw him listed as sold out either, I think their stock is still from the original release. I think Blade is still too niche, he's Marvel, but he hasn't had a movie in years, and he's not in the MCU yet. Quote

The original Blade wasn't an exclusive so you can still easily find it at a lot of stores. The NYTF Exclusive one was practically impossible to find though. This may end up being a worse selling exclusive than the first appearance Doctor Strange. Hmm, nope, just double checked and he's at Waitlist now. So he did sell quite a bit faster than DS did. borgified Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 I did get a copy of the DMX Blade during the pre-orders @Mommar. I try and combine the accessories from the two versions into one and post pics up when I do have time in latter June/first two weeks of July. Quote
Mommar Posted May 27, 2020 Author Posted May 27, 2020 (edited) Modern Wonder Woman is now available, gents. Not up at Dorkside yet. Her cape doesn't look very good... The team pic is cool but it's too bad I skipped on The Flash and that Supes is so terrible. Otherwise it's a great team-up look. https://www.mezcotoyz.com/one-12-collective-wonder-woman https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/126062 Edited May 27, 2020 by Mommar Quote
Tking22 Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 Immediately pre-ordered! This is the Wonder Woman I've been waiting on to finish my One:12 Justice League off! She looks fantastic too, I'm glad I waited on this one and didn't cave and just get the classic version. Cape looks okay, it looks wired at least which is nice. BBTS seems to put non refundable deposits on all One:12 stuff now, which I get, sort of. There's more expensive stuff on their site that doesn't though, I don't get why One:12 is so different, smaller production numbers maybe? That final League shot looks fantastic, I got Hal instead for my Green Lantern but may grab a Stewart as well before he sells out. Supes definitely looked better in the promos but I still love the figure and look, it's still the best classic 6" Supes I've seen, I got Red Son too. Quote

They started doing it when people realized BBTS has been getting these things in three to four weeks later and they would cancel their pre-orders and order fro Amazon instead. Quote
borgified Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 Thanks for posting this up Mommar as I totally blanked out. I think Carol Danvers should be shipping soon according to Mezco's shipping section. Should be getting the MDX Blade tommorow if FedEX tracking is correct. Quote
borgified Posted May 28, 2020 Posted May 28, 2020 Carol Danvers unboxing on Mezco's Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gn8eSqCOecw One review dated on the 20th in Mandarin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rejlEH5_KwQ Quote

I caved and bought the MDX Blade and it turns out I'm supremely happy I did. He looks fricking fantastic. I'm going to throw away that ugly Brie Larson head... Quote
borgified Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Got MDX Blade last Saturday as this is the pics for now. Packed inside a plain white box with the Gomez sticker, a invitation card for you to post a pic of your mini (micro mez-itz) with any other Mezco 1:12 figures for a draw on Monday on Social media on Twitter. Got the Mini Mez-itz Gomez with the boom box. Will try and get the comparison with the regular Blade, however no promises. @Mommar - If you do get DMX Blade, are you able to post your comparisons when time allows? Quote

borgified Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 That's right. Haven't done any parts swap over on my normal and MDX Blade as I'm in a middle of a move to a smaller sized room in my place (with a single sized closet) and it mostly my hobbies that's eating most of the space! Thining out the unnessary junk as such as possible and putting fair chunk of it in storage. Quote
teckno viking Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 I am reworking My Blade to Wesley Snipes BLADE, moreso "BLADE II". Made a Mezco based Reinhardt custom with his trademark Samurai Pistols. Also working on some REAPERS hence the 3 heads I did. Have the triple set of Wesley Snipe Blade heads by Dale from One12Shop. New longcoat thats appropriate to the film from vctoybox. The weapons & Shoulder holster rig I Made those. The pair of HK USP Match custom pistols. Shoulder holster (scaled down copy of my Hot Toys one). Shotgun (just needs UV light added). Pair of EDTA delivery systems to be worn on the back of the hands. The Blades are retractable too. However the Main Star is His DODGE CHARGER. Working Doors, Air intake on the Hood. zzzzzblae snipes heads.webp Quote
teckno viking Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Some better shots of the DODGE now it has the hood slips. Also the VCToybox Longcoat compared to Mezco. VC is much softer and poses very well with the right hang if wanting that film look. Oh FYI I dropped the height of Wesley to be under 6ft scale equivalent. As he is. Then added Punisher boots which are pretty close to the film ones. Quote
borgified Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 That's taking it to the next level @teckno viking! Now the question is... What bike would Blade prefer? Harley-Davidsons, Ducati, BMW, or any of the Japanese offerings? Quote

Or one of the Japanese brands. Then in II & Trinity Ducati's. However the TV show following on Blade II (in a round about way) had the Harley. Guess personal choice of the collector or ALL lol Quote
teckno viking Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 A wee upgrade for my Blade and his Dodge Charger too. I have a Dio to turn into his HIDEOUT to battle the Suck Heads. Quote
Tking22 Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Looks like 1978 Christopher Reeve Superman goes up for sale Friday, Mezco site exclusive too. I'm definitely in for one, he'll look good next to Keaton Batman. https://www.mezcotoyz.com/one-12-collective-superman-1978-edition Quote
borgified Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 (edited) Guess what's on twitter as well? Priced at $125 USD with a NRD of $31.25 So get your orders in quickly! Edited June 10, 2020 by borgified Quote
