HLJ is usually pretty good about it though so when I can I try to get my orders in there, but it's hard lately with the quantity limitations. I pretty much always buy more than 1x of all releases I buy. Quote

Not all reissue came with replacement shoulders parts. Some of the later runs of the reissues were pre-fixed from the factory I panic when my HLJ order did not came with replacement parts like their email suggested. But they replied back that the version I have is pre-fixed. Sure enough it was. so no extra parts for me to play with. I wanted the replacement shoulders for that just incase, i can give it to another YF-29 so it can be RED shouldered Quote

I just bought one, and it only have the rubber antenna. I dont know if it's missing, or if it's originally didnt come with the hard antenna. Anyone can help me? Thanks Quote

It wasn't a durability issue, it was that they had printed the SMS wrong. many MW members weren't able to get corrected shoulders Quote

If I remember correctly, the finish comes from the molding. Bandai isn’t likely going to redo the molds like that so the finishes will match with the newer figures. I never bothered checking after the SWS issue became known. I'd like to see a YF-30 reissue instead with corrected SMS since I think all of them have that issue. Quote

I saw on Scorched Earth's review that all of the other versions already had the fix for the gerwalk mode support piece in place, but it wasn't really clear as to whether any of the Alto reissues included it. Reading through the thread, it looks like the all of the Alto version reissues (30th anniversary sticker and the later ones) had the strengthened gerwalk mode support? And the later reissues were the ones which may or may not have an upside-down "SMS" on one of the shoulders? Just looking at the Mandarake listings and thinking if I buy one I want to make sure it has the fixed gerwalk part - don't really care one way or another about the upside-down shoulder text. Quote
