They've done it before...because it it limit 1 and they think you are trying to take advantage of them. Many people have reported that their accounts were locked because of doing that and other things. I accidentally ordered 2 of a limit 1 before and they just cancelled the 2nd order on me.

They have a strict 1-item limit per customer on certain items (like this). If you cancel one order quickly, they'll likely not take any action against you. I accidentally ordered two Metal Build Arbalests, canceled one, and the other/my account wasn't affected at all.

Yep, I do PP for every PO now.  Just makes it easier, but the downside is you do tend to get charged immediately by sites like CDJ.  Make sure you have all your ducks in a row before you click that button!

thanks for letting me know about HLJ and their "Soup Nazi" approach to repeated orders (repeated just because they didn't give me any order confirmation numbers!).

Was severely tempted when I clicked on the CDJ link from Facebook. It was actually available! Decided to pass, because almost all my other valks have been in a box for over 4 years. Can’t legitimately justify it. Will regret when pictures start showing up, though...

Looks like one of the orders came through HLJ. Hopefully they won’t freeze my account for the other 2 I made out of frantic ness.

update: 2 of the 3 came through HLJ so cancelled one.

Per their terms and conditions:

10. Per-Customer Limits

If an item has a per-customer limit, that limit will be stated on the item's page or in the shopping cart. We ask that you respect these limits.

A per-customer order limit of one per customer means you can only order a total of one. If you already ordered one, and the item becomes available for sale again with a per-customer limit of one, please do not order it again; you have already ordered the limit.

If an item has a per-customer limit, the limit will be enforced. Any customer attempting to manipulate our system to place orders so that the total quantity is beyond the stated limit may have their orders cancelled and their account (as well as any related accounts) locked or terminated without notice.

In the event that we receive less stock than was ordered, at the discretion of our order department a per-customer limit may be applied to existing orders or lowered further to help as many customers as possible acquire the item.

I just got mine as well.  Ordered twice from HLJ.  Received just one confirmation so far, fingers crossed they will either cancel the duplicate or I will keep checking in my account to make sure.

On Paypal, select the transaction, report an error, select the error (I listed 'other' and stated I ordered from the wrong site). Worse comes to worse I'll just have to call up my cc company and tell them to pull the funds. I accidentally ordered from the wrong site at 430am when I rolled out of bed for the mad rush, lol.
