seti88 Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Since the unveiling of the SV-262 what are the tots abt it? like i mentioned in the delta annoucement thread, the legs seem to be more aligned to wing-facing rather than top/down thrusting...which may mean more of a built for speed valk. Am not sure abt the size of the tyhruster protrusions tho...it seems quite ok in the lineart but from the model its a bit elongated? However the color scheme is a quite fetching... Quote
treatment Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 However the color scheme is a quite fetching... Is it gold-colored plastic or gold painted? Coz dreaded GPS and all... Quote
wmkjr Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 All I know is I hope that gold (silver for the others) or whatever that is don't scratch off. Quote
Reaction Warhead Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Wow, I'm really digging that gold/dark blue color scheme. Seems like all the valks in Delta are very colorful. Everybody better be extra careful when transforming them. Otherwise, you'll end up with battle damaged ver. of the 31 and 262. Quote
seti88 Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) I would like to thk that it would be gold plastic, however thats going to prove to be a challenge for bandai in form fitting the parts together. I dont thk they can color inject sperately on a single sheet of plastic but they have the scale and experience as a toy company so who knows... either that or it could be a very elaborate piece of tampo...if they pull it off they will have a notch higher on their tampo-kingness! SuperHobo Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Yeah all of that gold paint is going to need some industrial strength top coat to prevent gold flakes flying everywhere during transformation. Quote
no3Ljm Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) And the Draken somehow have the traditional VF-1 look in the silhouette. Looks interesting. Unless that's only used for image placement. Edited October 29, 2015 by no3ljm Quote

Looks interesting. image.jpg I suspect that they only used the VF-1 silhouette by default cos they havent figured out how it transforms! fighter mode first, figure out the rest of the details later! seti88 Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 Yeah all of that gold paint is going to need some industrial strength top coat to prevent gold flakes flying everywhere during transformation. Bandai has done similarly for the VF-27's with their mix of green/purple and white lining, so i suspect it wouldnt be much different in implementation here.. Quote
Lolicon Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Paint scratching galore but a definite buy for me! Quote
seti88 Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 Paint scratching galore but a definite buy for me! which color are you going for or all of it? Quote
seti88 Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) Just realised the 262's variations arent that visible...seems like its still a Work in progress... Or .....drumroll....there arent any more variations! Edited October 29, 2015 by seti88 Quote
Lolicon Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 which color are you going for or all of it? If Frontier is any indication... all of them! Multiples if they have various add-on packs (which they probably will). Quote
wmkjr Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Just realised the 262's variations arent that visible...seems like its still a Work in progress... sv-262_poster.jpg Or .....drumroll....there arent any more variations! The only variation (besides color and insignia's) I see is the Lead one has pointed front wing tips and the others do not. Also, the 2 VF-31's with Insignia's also have double head lasers. Quote
Reaction Warhead Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) If Frontier is any indication... all of them! Multiples if they have various add-on packs (which they probably will). So, about 6 SV-262s, and 5 VF-31s...including all the future online exclusives of course. Man, Bandai must used to be in the dairy products business, cause they sure are good at milking stuffs. Shukenzero Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Too many Valks! And they'll probably reveal another enemy design at some point during the show. My poor wallet Quote

It looks almost to be 3 only based on the poster and from what wmkjr pointed out.. Quote

Reaction Warhead Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) So, this is just sailor moon in spaaaaaaace. Edited October 29, 2015 by Reaction Warhead Quote
wmkjr Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) I can't see the last 3 but it seems each of them has their unit ranking ( vf marking?). Edit: Oops. Even the VF-31's have unit ranks. Edited October 29, 2015 by wmkjr Quote
Silverstreak Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I'm down for one of these. It's always nice to get a new Valk design. Quote
Mommar Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I prefer the non-pointy wings on the CF craft better. Quote
Valkyrie Driver Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I prefer the non-pointy wings on the CF craft better. Same. Quote

Valkyrie addict Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Awesome looking valk! I guess this things are still being non-scale Quote
Garfinkel Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I don't think the other sv-262 are cannon fodder, the middle one has sine red trim. I think they are all different, but only subtle differences. I am sure they have worked out gerwalk and battroid already, but can't make the reveal yet. This is going to hurt my wallet. Quote
anime52k8 Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 So, this is just sailor moon in spaaaaaaace. sailor moon was already in space. anyways, I'm fingers crossed right now for one of the green ones. the more conventional wing and color scheme does a lot more fore me Quote
Kelsain Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) Sigh, I sure hope this doesn't end up as a Space Pope Valkyrie. Edited October 29, 2015 by Kelsain Quote

seti88 Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 The other thing is why r the designations SV. Ie anti UN spacey. They existed prior sdfm as per continuity, but suddenly popping up here years after frontier? Quote
Mommar Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I would really like to see the non-command versions of this more. I'm not a big fan of the pointy wing look. Quote
charger69 Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) So, this is just sailor moon in spaaaaaaace. Well, technically Sailor Moon was already in space! But I've got your point Edited October 29, 2015 by charger69 Quote
