Bandai is currently doing it with the VF-1J bundled GBP armor and a seperate GBP pack releases.

I get the point wallets may be tighter though during these pandemic times....

Still there are folks whose wallets got fatter too because of the pandemic...depends on how bandai wants to play it, but they have options...

Yes a bundle release would be unbelievably priced....cheap!!! If you take a moment to consider what you would be getting....😉🙃

Oh is that so? I don’t collect the Bandai VF-1s so I didn’t know, but yeah I would obviously like one set so I don’t have to wait another year or so just for parts that just need to be coloured different from Arad! Let’s hope they do the Kairos justice after the fiasco with the original release. We’re all just trying to engjoy this hobby together

The 31A has very few actual differences to the other 31's.  The new AX has more significant changes from any of the previous 31's including the A than the A does from the other previous 31's.

I can't stand the existing armor pack colors. I'd buy this though!

Cost wise... a 31A and armor bundle might still be cheaper than a naked 31A at this point.

Its annoying how much more appealing the armor set is in those more neutral military style livery.

I kind of hope that the color scheme for Chuck's new valk would have been applied to Arad's.  Yellow stripe and skull in the traditional skull leader fashion; I would order it without a thought.

So sad. Half the hinge on one of the wings for my VF-31 broke off. It was the first time transforming from battroid back to fighter. I am always gentle when transforming too :(

I've never seen a Mirage damaged.  Did it "snap/burst" apart under stress, or did it just fall/crumble out?

I would have figured Bandai would have made a greater effort and promote the franchise more using attractive marketing ploys to garner more attention for the DX releases.  It seems like they did this just to satisfy a request and was not wholeheartedly meant to attract a large crowd.

Here’s to hoping Macross makes it big in the US (well at least officially).

Edit: I'll most likely get Mirage's 31ax with the her Grandparents namesake itasha, however will have to see if a bundled set will follow with the Supers (or not).

I'm fine with one AX just to have the design. But, I'll get another and that armor. I passed on the last one because.....orange.

That and the all-light grey parts seemed a bit too bright/bland(?) for me....

we do also have a blue plus orange dash for hayate armor parts this time around tho, maybe a lesson learnt to shake it up a bit..

It looks like this was just a toe in the water sort of a thing to see if there is enough overseas interest, The main announcement will probably come through "Macross ha

 tomaranai" or some official BW channel as they do with most of their announcements.
